Ep-5 Friend in need
Aurelia entered the school premises, her once pristine school uniform now visibly stained and dirtied.
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
Oh no, My dress is dirty.
As she walked through the corridors, whispers and mocking laughter followed her.
Dinah
(snickering) "Look at Aurelia! Did she decide to play in the mud today?"
Roxanne
(sarcastically) "Oh, the precious princess got her dress dirty! What a tragedy!"
Aurelia, with tears welling up in her eyes, kept her head down, trying her best to ignore the hurtful comments. However, her best friend Ciara noticed her distress and stepped forward, ready to defend her.
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(firmly) "Enough! Have you all forgotten the meaning of empathy? Is this how we treat our friends?"
Dinah
(mocking) "Oh, look, Ciara is standing up for the poor little princess. How touching!"
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(assertively) "This has nothing to do with social status. Aurelia is our friend, and friends should support each other, not tear each other down."
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
Leave them Ciara Let's go.
Roxanne
(grudgingly) "Well, maybe she should learn to take care of herself and not end up looking like a mess."
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(with conviction) "If you open your mouth one more time. I will rip your skin from your face."
Dinah
( Irritate)let's go Roxanne
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
"Thank you, Ciara. I don't know what I would do without you."
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(smiling warmly) "That's what friends are for, Aurelia. We stick together through thick and thin. Don't ever forget that."
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(concerned) "Aurelia, you're late! You missed two whole periods. What happened?"
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
(with a sigh) "Ciara, it's been a chaotic morning. I had an unexpected incident at the supermarket. My purse got stolen, and I ended up chasing the thief. I fell, and my clothes got dirty. It took me some time to gather myself and come to school."
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(wide-eyed) "Oh my goodness! That sounds terrible. Are you okay? Did you manage to get your purse back?"
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
(nodding) "Yes, thankfully, Ronan, a boy I met at the supermarket, helped me catch the thief and retrieve my purse. But by then, it was already too late to rush to College."
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(sympathetic) "Wow, that must have been quite an ordeal. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Are you alright now?"
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
(smiling faintly) "I'm fine, Ciara. It was a bit overwhelming, but Ronan's intervention made a difference. I'm grateful for his help."
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(intrigued) "That's interesting, Aurelia. It sounds like this encounter had a profound impact on you. Did you exchange contact information? Will you see him again?"
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
(reflective) "No, we didn't exchange contact information. Ronan seemed hesitant to get involved further, considering the differences in our lives. But there's something about him that intrigues me. Maybe fate will bring us together again."
Ciara ( Aurelia's Bestie)
(supportive) "Well, you never know what the future holds. I hope you get a chance to meet Ronan again. In the meantime, remember that you have friends here who care about you, including me."
Aurelia Blake ( Teen )
(gratefully) "Thank you, Ciara. Your friendship means the world to me. It's reassuring to have someone like you by my side."
