Hearing the elderly man Aera's heart broke into pieces. Mr.Kim was a kind man, and he built his family with love and care rather than force. He was like a friend to his children and also to his grandchildren.

After the short discussion Mr.Kim had refused to join for dinner as he had lost his appetite. The Kim family except Mr.Kim were now seated in the dining room.

Father didn't have any appetite (aera replied to Jin's question with a small smile, but the rest of them could sense something was off just by looking at her face)

Is father doing fine ? is his health all okay? ( he asked with a tint of worry, Mr.Kim was always very healthy, but with his growing age a slight illness can make him go all weak and the Kim family was extra cautious about it)

He is upset about not being able to keep a promise, He was crying.

What promise eomma... Is there anything we can do (Namjoon asked in a gentle tone)

Everyone was now eager to know about the promise that their grandpa made. They all stopped eating and looked up at Aera to know what exactly made their grandpa so sad.

The entire family's gaze landed on Kim Taehyung, by now everyone knew the reason for Mr.Kim's dilemma. Kim Taehyung was the only suitable candidate for the marriage, but it was next to impossible to talk to him. Every person be it an omega, alpha or a beta every person whose eyes that saw Taehyung would fall head on heels over him.

Countless pursuers, but Kim Taehyung never batted his eyes on anyone. There was no one who could get his attention. This doesn't mean he had never dated anyone or was a V¡rgin. Taehyung had dated a few, back when he was abroad for studies, and that to due to his mother's continuous insistence. The dating lasted for only a few days, the longest being 11 days.

He did have a few hookups now and then. Being an Enigma it was difficult to keep his urges, but it doesn't mean Taehyung was a Playboy. He never went sleeping around, he did it only it was very necessary for him to do so, and after becoming a businessman he never had any sort of relationship with anyone either be it romantically or sexually.

And That's how the dinner came to an end. No one could still believe what they heard. The parents were happy by their son's decision. Well Taehyung never spoke anything carelessly and that's the reason no one asked Taehyung again. Aera and boram informed Mr.Kim about what Taehyung said, and he was more than delighted. But there was someone who still had some doubts, and he was the only one who had the courage to knock on Taehyung's door.

(Entered inside Taehyung's room and sat on his bed while Taehyung was on the sofa with a file) Are you sure??

I have to get married someday ( he said in his deep voice)

And I hope my little brother marries out of love(he said in a gentle tone)

You know I am not interested in such stuff(he said averting his gaze from the file up to namjoon)

It's not like Taehyung never tried, But he never felt the love that his brother was talking about. He had a perfect family and their selfless love, and he was happy about it. But when it came to a romantic kind of love all he got was selfishness. Some wanted him for his good looks and Some for his wealth. Expectations were what others had on him, and he couldn't find the love that everyone talks about, and eventually he gave up.

Namjoon spoke for a few more minutes and went back to his room. Maybe this is not all bad. This might be an arranged marriage, but who knows it might work for him that's what namjoon thought.
