It was lunch time and Aki hasn't return your messages yet. Since this morning, she hasn't replied to your texts.

You shrugged, thinking she's probably sick and didn't attend school. You decided to check on her after class.

You made your way to the cafeteria as you dialed Bokuto's number. You were hoping he's available to accompany you right now cause it sucks to eat alone.

Few steps away from the cafeteria, you got startled when someone grabbed your arms harshly. You looked back to find your best friend glaring at you, her phone was waving at your face.

You gulped, your eyes widening as you examine the thing she was showing.

It was from Bokuto's IG story. He posted a boomerang clip of you and Akaashi. Your forehead creased in confusion.

You looked like a lovesick puppy staring at Akaashi while he's sipping on his soup bowl.

Bokuto swing his large arms around your shoulder as he leads you inside the cafeteria.

The two of you stopped in front of his teammates whose faces was already stuffed.

You smiled at Konoha as he motioned the empty seat beside him.

Though, your cousin was quick to slap his teammate in the back before he pointed on the empty chair beside Akaashi.

Bokuto immediately left and you sat beside Akaashi.

You're pretty familiar with everyone even if you're just a first year in Fukurodani.

You always hang out at Bokuto's house and your cousin has a habit of bringing his friends over everytime. That's why you basically met all his close friends.

Your brows furrowed. Akaashi was asking about Aki? Has he finally took interest on your friend now? For some reason, it made your stomach turns sour.

Just asking since you basically eat lunch with her everyday. I just noticed she's not beside you today....

Akaashi absentmindedly moved to organize the food in front of you. He put the tray away before unfolding the sandwich wrapper and jabbing the straw on your drink.

Your eyes narrowed at him and he seemed to noticed it as realization hit him.

Akaashi forced an awkward smile on his face before his hands flew to your cousin's food. Bokuto immediately swatted his hands away.

Akaashi cleared his throat, the awkward grin was still on his face but you noticed the withering look he's throwing on the boys.
