ok so it's actually very normal. this thing has happened with me a lot of time. I also get too many ideas but I sometimes I just lost interest or somehow just don't know how to deal with it or if I am even ready do that. I have started with this quite dramatic and whatnot plot(something that would be unique in the early novel days) but I occasionally lost the work/idea to my other work or book. And if you think you wanted to write the story(as it's too precious not to) then go ahead and write it, but if you don't feel writing then don't force yourself. Ideas and story come naturally you can't force your way, not for yourself not for your readers.
