It was a dark and stormy night when Jenna and her friends decided to explore the abandoned house on the outskirts of town. Jenna and Liam decided to conduct a séance to try and communicate with the spirits in the house. They gathered some candles and sat in a circle in the middle of the living room.

As they began to chant, the room suddenly grew cold. They felt a presence in the room, but couldn't see anything.

Suddenly, the candles flickered and the room was filled with a bright light. They heard a woman's voice whisper, "Thank you."

Jenna and Liam felt a sense of peace wash over them. They knew that they had helped Sarah and her family find the closure they needed.

As Jenna and Liam were packing up to leave the abandoned house, they heard a loud thud coming from upstairs. They cautiously made their way up the stairs, unsure of what they might find.

As they reached the top, they saw that a large wooden box had fallen off a shelf and had spilled its contents on the floor. They carefully picked up the items and saw that they were all old photographs and letters.

One letter caught Jenna's eye. It was a letter from Sarah's son, written just before he died. In the letter, he had written about how much he loved his mother and how much he wished he could protect her from his abusive father.

Jenna felt tears welling up in her eyes. "This is so heartbreaking," she said.

Liam put a hand on her shoulder. "At least we were able to help Sarah and her family find the peace they needed."

Jenna nodded. "You're right. Let's go home."

As they drove away from the abandoned house, Jenna and Liam felt a sense of closure. They had uncovered the secrets of the house.
