Reaching the stormy grey door i reach into my bag and grab my key before opening the door.
Imitiately after stepping foot into the house i am shoved to the floor by my playful beagle, Rosie. "It's good to see you too baby!" I laugh while trying to clean my face of drool. "Noah! Is that you?" Screams my little sister Lucy from her room. Lucy is only 2 years younger then me so she is in secondary school with me; she's has a brilliant mind and lots of friends. "Yeah its me!" I confirm which leads to her stumbling down the oak stairs and straight into my open arms. We both laugh joyfully as i pick her up and swing her in circles. Putting her down i kiss her on the foreheads before asking, "Is mum home?" With a concerned expression. "Yeah she's in the garden on rhe phone." Lucy states before running off to play with Rosie.
Slowly i make my way to the back door and walk up to my mother planning to kiss her on the cheak as a way is saying hello; but i get interrupted by her glare that basically screams 'go away im on the phone'. She doesnt mean to be rude or anything, she just takes her job very seriously.
I know that dad isnt home because he works untill late so i just make my way upstairs and get started on my maths homework.
