episode 15: Ambush

yaoyao stir at her father, minister gu shake his head

" it is the princess that's getting married, hey yaoyao don't worry the two Prince is going with you so you're safe" madam gu said to calm her daughter, qianqian bit her lower lips and turn to her father

" can I follow sister, I don't want her to be alone and beside I have always wish to go to qu " qianqian said as she hold yaoyao's hand while minister gu laugh

" don't worry I am a friend of the princess, so I won't feel lonely" yaoyao said removing her hand from qianqian's

" hey.....it's fine, your sister can go with you. yaoyao don't worry your sister will keep you safe" minister gu said and dismiss the girls.

yangjiang and Jiangze sit comfortably on the horse, yu wei was sitting inside the bridal carriage, yaoyao was sitting in front of yangjiang on the horse while qianqian partner with Jiangze.

yaoyao turn her head, raise her head a little and meet yangjiang gaze , she is nervous, yangjiang smile at her and reassure her of safe journey and ride. yangjiang and Jiangze stand at the side of the sedan chair, yangjiang at the right and Jiangze at the left, they walk out of qi and head towards the north. qianqian keep looking at yaoyao and yangjiang while Jiangze chat with her. they keep traveling and stop when they are tired. yaoyao walk nervously beside yangjiang as they walk towards the river to get water while Jiangze stay behind to guide the bridal chair. qianqian follow shortly after yaoyao and yangjiang left.

" yaoyao, you're quiet close to my brother " yangjiang said

" we are best of friends " yaoyao reply avoiding his gaze. yangjiang face her and took her hands " I have something to tell you" yangjiang said just then qianqian arrived and look at them she was boiling with anger.

" what's that " yaoyao ask as qianqian walk up to them

" never mind" yangjiang said turn abruptly and bend over the still water while yaoyao look at her hands. qianqian was so angry, she move closer to yaoyao who did not know and raise her hand to hit, but she stop when yangjiang stood up

" let's go back" he said without glancing at qianqian, he took yaoyao's hand and walk as away. Jiangze swallow hard when he saw them.

they continued their journey, Jiangze and yaoyao chat freely cracking jokes while the rest laugh happily

" stop" yaoyao suddenly exclaim she signal to the rest to keep quiet as she listen to some strange sound carefully, yangjiang quickly understand what she is trying to say and tell Jiangze to lead the guards and their sister away while he stay back with yaoyao, just as the others move arrow were shoots from the bushes, yangjiang flew from the horse and use his sword to fight the arrows in the air while Jiangze lead the rest away

yaoyao sit still on the horse in panic, she watch as yangjiang fought the assassins, yangjiang look back and saw a arrow directed at yaoyao he quickly flew to her rescue and the arrow Pierce into his skin. he wince in pain while the attackers run away

" yangjiang! " yaoyao scream as yangjiang landed on the ground weakly she couldn't stop her tears as they flow freely

" yaoyao are you alright? " yangjiang ask as his voice fade away.

" huh, am alright, yangjiang.... don't die on me" yaoyao said as she struggle to help him up on the horse.
