Christina's POV

It had been a long day and all I wanted to do right now was go home and sleep, I had been over working a lot these days

If they knew I'd been neglecting sleep after some work, what would they have said

"Chris you shouldn't neglect your sleep! what if something happens to you? "

Mom on the other side would have laughed but instantly shut up once dad glared at her

I miss you guys.... who's supposed to have my back now

I walked outside the company, Leonard a few steps behind me

bye, see you tomorrow, don't forget about the material for the meeting with Mr. Thompson

As I walked towards my car, Leonard called out my name as I stopped in my steps, turning around to look at him

He brought up his confession from yesterday and I tried to make him believe that I would forget about it and it won't cause any harm to his reputation

but his next words shocked me to the point I had no idea what to do or say

Can you give.... Us, a try?

Was he proposing to me?

b-but what am I supposed to do?

it's only been 2 days since I know him

but that's not the point, the point is that even in these two days, he is making me think about what to say

have I actually already started to like him?

He does have a nice face, quite handsome in fact

I love his competence at work and his amateur way of trying to console me in the restaurant tomorrow

I panicked, I still hadn't thought enough about my decision but seems like my conscience had already made up its mind

before even registering my answer, I spoke

I saw him still, he seemed surprised, as if he'd never expected for me to actually say yes, and I get where he's coming from because I never expected myself to either.

but why was Leonard walking towards me right now?
