Promise

I was too agitated with Mr. Wilson's response but still this time I was satisfied with my project .

But who could have done and made correction in my project !!?? I could think of Louis if he was here ,but he was also not here ,so who could it be ??

Peter couldn't be !!

Angelina too!!

Jenny was the one who is left !! But she was gone already . But still thank to that one person who did it . I couldn't even thank him or her . For me he might be an angel who came to help me .

I was on the way to collect my left things from library ,where I left Angelina . But I saw Angelina with all my things coming towards me .

"Heyy so finally ..done!!??"she asked curiously

"Hummmmmm" I made a dull face

"Hey take your things and take this too!!"She gave me all my things and a bag too where one of her jeans and a black T-shirt with some inner garments were there . I looked and then a broad and calm smile came on my face in a sudden .

" you don't have to give me ....!!"before I could complete my unspoken words .

"You're looking creepy .. As if you were haunted by Dark Devil (a name used for Mr. Wilson)" she mocked and laughed .

I took it away and said "I think that too ,he was deliberately picking up on me " I too laughed with her .

"Now go and get changed !!"

I thanked her and went to her hostel washroom . its better to use hostel washroom than public one .I looked at mirror ,my eyes were swollen and smudged . Eyeliner was already gone and some stuck on eye lid . Hairs were sticky so I thought to take a shower . It was almost 9 .

So I had already made up my mind to miss my first lecture which of course was of Physics . I started hating that subject just because of Mr. Wilson . I clutched up my hair as they were still wet and I couldn't ask Angelina for a hair dryer as she had been a great help these days . Angelina was shouting before washroom gate

"Sera hurry up !! I'm going with Peter!!"

"And HMMMM don't forget to call Louis ..he was too worried for you !!" She smacked on the washroom door and then probably gone with Peter .

"Aahhh I need sleep " I stroke on my head while looking at Angelina's hostel bad . my body was crying badly for sleep . so I threw the towel on one side and my body broke on the bed . Every single part was paining . finger tips were still same as before but now my eye lids were closing and blurry image of her room's ceiling was the last thing that I had seen before falling asleep . I forgot to call Louis and I didn't know what was happening beside me ,who were talking or whether my phone was ringing or not . I was sleeping like a stick .

In Mr. Wilson's room

"So you finally found your Soulmate!!?? " Mr. Wilson said to make a confirmation .

"Emmie is your mate !! ,....nice ...she is a good kid!!" Mr. Wilson said again while rustling with some papers or documents . He didn't look calm .Something was stressing out him .

"Elder lord said that she is the one ....." Daniel said in a low tone but his eyes still didn't believe that Emmie was his soul mate . He pulled a chair and sat on it .

"So still you didn't have your soul powers !!" Mr. Wilson said in a serious tone and then sat on the chair after closing the gate .He looked calm now after hearing that .

"What do you think ...if I have my soul powers then elder have to do it ..but..." He said sarcastically .

"He said that who had those powers was probably staying in Eve "Daniel said while standing up .

Now Wilson looked flustered as if he was hiding something from Daniel ,he was sweating .Daniel said

" so you were enjoying ...harassing kids here ..huh??"he laughed

"???" Mr. Wilson was now confused but he knew who he was talking about .

"Miss Sera Robert ..!!!!" Daniel exclaimed looking deeply in his eyes trying to know what he was hiding .

"Ohh that kid ... Just leave the topic!!"Wilson said while standing up .

" so you want to leave this topic or that prey of mine laughed " Daniel smirked

"Just leave her ..she is anaemic fake laughter" Wilson said and trying to wipe his sweat .

"There was something in her ...that I couldn't see !!" He murmured and stood up waving a hand ,saying bye to Wilson

And shouted

"I wanna play with my prey...for a while ..!!! " he smirked

And then he left his room .

He sat down on the chair . Then he took out an old diary . he wiped the dust on it . And then opened it ,his eyes were filled with tears . His hands were trembling .

He opened it.

On the right there was a name written in cursive writing.

Chris Robert

And date was written .He turned the next page . He started reading and then suddenly closed it and then took out a picture from his closed drawer .

"I'm sorry Chris ....my friend...!!" He was crying while seeing Chris picture .

It was his and Chris picture . they wore official uniform ,a picture of their old happy days .

"Sera is totally like you !!She is so innocent . she don't know how cruel is the world around her ..!!"

"How do I protect her !!?? From that bloodsucker monster "

"I will never brake my promise with you Chris whether it takes my life,I promised to take good care of your child . I did ........I didn't even know where are you . That day ........" He suddenly stopped saying more words .

"If he get to know that ...." Suddenly a smack on door .he suddenly put that photo in one of documents .

"Sir ..students were waiting for you !!" It was peon .Mr.Wilson sighed in relief and took Sera's pen drive with him and some of documents .

"Ahh who is shouting near my ear!!" I shouted in my sleep .

Angelina was calling me to get up as it was already time for my next lecture . I didn't have my schedule card as it was left in Louis bag . I woke up in half sleep . I looked more terrible than before .

"OK..okay ,I'm going !!" I exclaimed and threw blanket other side of the bed and then combed my hair . they were already dry .I stood up ,wore my hoodie and then waved hand towards Angelina .

"Hurry up ..Miss Robert" She waved back .I smiled and and went down by stairs .Jenny was waiting for me near the end of stairs . I ran and hugged her without any reason but I felt relief after doing that .

"Let's go Sera!!" She said while putting out her phone and opened her web chat . So she was chatting with Louis . I totally forgot to make a call to him . I took out my phone and called him .

"Finally .you got some time to call me!!" Louis said . he was more talkative than before as he just said two or three words at most before . I was feeling good after listening his voice . it was already mid day . I hadn't asked him about ,what was going there in his life . But he sounded calm on the call . I asked how was his dad and mom and cousins were . He said everyone was fine . But when I asked him when was he coming back!! But suddenly Beep Beep his phone cut . I was sad but I didn't call back . I thought he might be busy with his family .As he went there after so many years . I thought to give him some space . Now we were before class .

My bad luck followed me here too and it was Mr . Wilson's class. My mood depressed and I was looking down at the marble floor . I sat near the window again . Jenny sat with Mike . I was alone again . I looked outside the window . Sun was shining in the clear sky . That tree was cut down that was before the window . I was relaxed as I didn't feel anyone staring me . Daniel was still not in the class ,Emmie was also not . I hoped that they were not together but There was not a single time when I hoped for something and it would come true . I laughed on my own . They entered ,still they were together ,hand in hand . Don't know why but I hated seeing them so intimate but whenever I looked at them ,unknowingly Daniel always found out and gave me a devilish smile but still his smile on his flawless face made him more sexy . I couldn't control myself but always ended up staring him from back .

It was almost a week ,everything was quite fine ,more than fine . My life was going smoothly . I heard no news of Louis coming back . everyday Peter leaves me near my doorsteps ,sometimes he came in for Olivia's deserts .I didn't get any chance to see his Daniel face properly .He still smirked whenever our eyes meet and gave me a shock . Mr. Wilson stopped picking on me purposely .he didn't even say or punish me whether I studied or not . I asked Peter about Louis and sometimes we Louis and I talked for hours . Still we were same as before just there was something strange between us which keeps us apart . Our fresher's party day was coming .I heard some of students talking about it . I woke up early to help Olivia making deliveries and sometimes I went club with her .

No one stares me from back these days .It was relief and I didn't get any bad dreams .

It was Saturday night . Angelina ,I ,Peter and Jenny all were here for group study . There was physics test tomorrow . Everyone was in a hurry to prove themselves before Mr. Wilson. These days I focussed well on studies ,so I didn't have to worry about test and because of that a c generator project .I didn't have to study much about . Whoever had completed it was such a genius . my project looked as if it was done by some professional . We all rested on the floor after drinking Olivia's special energy drink . After studying for an hour . we all were totally exhausted .

Peter shouted

"Let's see a movie !!" We all were in the main hall . Peter opened his laptop to search Movie .Olivia said that she was going to make some snacks for us and went to kitchen . I clicked a picture of us and send it to Louis . He replied "Enjoy your days " and then went offline . we talked less now a days . I messaged him about our tomorrow test . I hoped that he would come today but still there was no reply from other side . We watched Twilight and then we all slept in the hall as everyone was tired and sleepy and it was so late to send them their own homes .

I was still up ,looking at my phone . Louis had seen my message but didn't reply . I was worried about him and was frustrated with this type of attitude of his towards me .I closed my account and decided to have no chat with him ignore him . But the fact he was deliberately ignoring me on purpose . I saw Olivia with some blankets and she covered us with care and kissed me on forehead and murmured "good night my little girl !!" Her warmth always relaxed me .I slept and hoped that he would appear in the exam .

Next morning

Sun was not in the sky . whole clear blue sky was captured by those monstrous dark clouds . wind was blowing and making us all shiver inside the blankets . It was already seven and at an hour after was our exam . Olivia was shouting and throwing our blankets so we could wake up and get ready for college .

''Hey hurry children .

You all have a test today .

Get up fast freshen up ,You all don't have much time to go to your own home so just freshen up here''

Olivia said and went to kitchen . I could see that she didn't went to make her morning cookies deliveries . I was worried for her too as she was working so hard to gave me a better life . We didn't have much money to submit college fees so we also took some loan from Uncle John . He never mentioned that loan before me as Olivia had said him to not to tell me but I heard it when I was in club with her .

We all filled our stomach with Olivia's delicious food and went out of the door . Olivia told me to take the truck as we were getting late for college and didn't have any big vehicle in which we all could fit . I sat on the driving seat . Jenny sat beside me and those two love couple sat on the back of the truck . I told them to hold something as I was going to rush . Now I started with full speed of that truck . it was in a bad condition but still helping us in crucial times . I had already decided to do a part time job in restaurant which was in Nice a place ,there i could probably get enough amount so i could buy a new truck for Olivia in a year .I was driving so fast . There was no glimpse of sun in the cloudy sky .I hated rainy days as it always wetted my clothes and I had no clothes to wear other days . I wished that there would no rain till we safely got into college . I didn't want to do exam in wet clothes . we finally reached . Peter and Angelina left the truck near gate so they could check the sitting arrangement which was pasted on the notice board near the main hall . Jenny and I parked the truck at the backside of the college and then we rushed to the main hall to check ours too .

I had exam in hall number. 2

Jenny had in hall number . 4,just beside our hall .

Peter and Angelina both have exam in hall no. 3 .they were quite lucky all the time .

Then we headed to our examination halls .

I didn't knew that today wa the day when I got a chance to see him Daniel properly . I sat where my roll number sticker was pasted and it was in the centre of the class . I sat and head down on the desk to relax my mind and to rewind once again what I had learnt till now.

Suddenly the same mint fragrance was coming from left side, I opened my eyes and turned to that side to finally see that person who smelled so good . I slightly looked up .

Black hair ... broad chest and the skin was shining .He had somewhat similar figure with that black hoodie man who saved me that day . now I was more curious to look at his face .He wore same black hoodie and a denim jeans . Now my heart beat increased in a sudden . That outfit perfectly matched on his deadly charming body.

I suddenly came up with the thought of Daniel . . He sat beside me after checking his roll number .

I desperately wanted to see him from front ,So I dropped my pencil. He turned and was trying to pick pencil from white marble floor ,I also bended down then shook...

Our head collided ....

Then Our eyes collided ..

His eyes were shining so brightly.. His eyes were like black crystal embedded into mine .. My heart stopped breathing and my voice was stuck somewhere deep in my throat .

For that one moment I forgot everything and I was looking into his eyes as if I could see ..''A deep ocean of love flowing into his dark crystal eyes'' It was quite funny but I could feel that by looking into his eyes .His deep black eyes were saying something or finding something in my eyes . For few minutes I looked into his eyes without blinking . He stroke my pencil on the table so I could be back in the real world .

He handed over my pencil to me and smiled .His smile was like the breeze in the evening when the dark night had a glimpse of beautiful stars....!!

At that moment I was totally lost somewhere into him..!!

For whole three hours . I kept thinking about that one moment and staring at him ... ... He knew that I was looking at him but he didn't mind that .I thought

Test ended Finally

he stood up and submitted his paper and went out . Emmie also submitted and went after him.

I stood up to submit mine also. Suddenly I saw a cell phone in the desk keeper .

I took that and in a hurry, I submitted the exam sheet and went out .

I saw him with Emmie .Emmie was holding his hand . I didnt know that why was I feeling hurt deep inside my heart but its alright . I said to myself .and moved my legs forward as my legs became numb .

I finally went forward ,then gave him his phone .

''Your phone was left in the desk keeper so I came out to hand over it to you..''

''Ohh thank you..!!''

Still his eyes were shining I kept on looking into his eyes .His eyes were so bright when he looked into mine .Everytime when he looked deeply into my eyes ,I felt as if he was finding something very precious...My heart dropped beating at every moment and everything seemed to fade away.. Only the thing left was you before my eyes .

Then Emmie said-''Daniel ..lets go '' She was holding his hand and showing as if I didn't stand a chance to hold his hand .

... I was shocked. I felt like a child whose most favourite candy had been taken away . I couldn't breathe at that moment .My heart was going to explode .I thought .....should I become excited for finally having a glimpse of Daniel or should I be sad for seeing him with the girl whom I didn't like a single bit....and should I be blissful that the person whom I wanted to see so badly sat beside me for whole three hours and even our forehead touched each other.....

At that moment I sounded too childish. But I was no better than a small child who saw a full room filled with chocolates and toys...laughed.
