Thoma and Ayato have been friends since kids.. They call each other best Bro's, But as they grow up, Ayato never knew that Thoma has feelings for him....

Thoma kept his feelings for him selfm...

One day, Thoma finally have courage to tell him his feelings..

Thoma: “My Lord, May I talk to you for a moment?” Thoma asked him with a smile, with a little feeling of nervousness. But Ayato turned to him looking down, Ayato sigh and has a bitter smile on his face.

Thoma: “What's wrong?” Thoma asked him.

Ayato: “Thoma... I'm... I'm getting married....” Ayato said to Thoma, looking down with a bit smile.. While on the other hand, Thoma froze there, he felt his heart shattered hearing his words... He feels like he was about to cry...

Thoma: “W-what-?” he trembles, clenching his hands, making sure he doesn't burst out crying...

Ayato: “I'm getting married, It was arranged by my clan...” Ayato said...

Thoma: “I-I see! C-congratulation, my lord!” He said putting a fake smile...

Ayato: “.... yeah.. thanks... Ah, by the way. What were you about to say?” Ayato was silence for a moment before speaking..

Thoma: “Ah-! N-no, It's nothing. Forget it! A-anyway, I remember I still have some things to do. I'll see you later!” Thoma said and hurriedly gets out of the room..

Ayato: “..? Alright, see you around.” He smiled at him, waving his hand.

That night, the same day.. Thoma cried all night thinking what Ayato said earlier.

The next day, Thoma was assigned to serve meals to Ayato and his future wife. Ayato noticed Thoma's eyes...

Ayato: “Thoma, Are you okay? Your eyes are red..” Ayato held Thoma's hand asking concerned while Thoma was putting down the dishes, he slides his hand away from Ayato's...

Thoma: “I'm Alright, My Lord!” Thoma gave Ayato a smile.

Thoma: “Then, enjoy your meal, My Lord and My Lady.” After putting down the last dish, he hurriedly ran out of the room...

The same day, Ayato and his future wife scroll around the garden, they were laughing and talking.. While on the other hand, Thoma was watching them afar.. Thoma's heart was broken...

After that day, Thoma has been coughing a lot.

Ayato: “You've been coughing a lot, are you okay?” Ayato asked him concerned and worried.

Thoma: “ *cough* I-im fine, My Lord!” Thoma said with a smile as he coughs.

A month have passed, and Thoma's condition have gotten worse.. One day, he suddenly cough blood but with flower petals with it?! Thoma looked at his hand with blood and petals on it, he trembles looking at his hand...

A week have passed and the same thing kept happening, he kept coughing bloody petals... He tried going to some doctors, but none of them know anything about his condition...

After going to the last doctor in Inazuma, he came across to a strange shop. The shop owner seemed to noticed him and welcomed him to come in. Thoma refuses and was about to continue to walk, but the strange owner suddenly spoke..

“I know something about your Illness...”

Thoma froze and turned around back to the owner.

“..What..?” Thoma froze and looked at the owner with his eyes widen, the owner seemed to notice his reaction and grins...

“If you wanna know anything about it, come inside.” The owner said to him, Thoma seem to be hesitating, but he entered the shop anyway...

“You have Hanahaki...” The owner said.

Thoma: “Hana.. Wha-?” Thoma asked confused...

Owner: “ Hanahaki It is an old disease where you cough the petals of the person you love favorite flower.. At first, it will only start as a normal cough, but as it goes on, you will eventually start coughing bloody petals... The only cure is for you to confess their love to the person you have feelings with.. But if you don't, you will eventually die.”

Long story short. After the talking with the strange owner, Thoma decided to not confessed to Ayato and just let him live in peace. Months have passed and the wedding is approaching, and also. Thoma's condition have gotten from bad to worse.

One night, Thoma was in his room, he seemed to be writing something. He look so pale as a ghost, there were tons of Bloody tissues and petals inside his room... The next day, Ayato knocked in Thoma's room..

Ayato: “Thoma, It's noon already.. It's time to wake up.” Ayato said with a gentle tone, as he knocked. Though, there was no response nor sound inside.. He knocked again and still, nothing...

Ayato: “Thoma? Are you alright in there? I'm coming in..” Ayato said before slowly opening the door.. “Thoma, I-” Before he can finish his words, he froze there in shock. his eyes wiwiden, he saw his room full of blood and petals.. and right there, He saw Thoma lying in the floor, Lifeless..

He quickly ran to Thoma and held him in his arms “Thoma! Thoma! Wake up!” he said loudly shaking his body. But there was no response... Ayato grit his teeth, and carried Thoma's body... He carried him all the way to the doctor “Hold in there!” He said panting...

when they reached to the doctor, he was already pronounced dead. Hearing the doctor's words, it felt as if the world stop. His heart shattered to a million pieces....

“N-no! You're lying! H-he's not-!” Ayato dropped in the floor and burst out crying. The doctor tries of calm Ayato, but Ayato screamed at him to leave.

After the doctor leave... Ayato goes close to Thoma and hug his lifeless body.... Just as he hug him, a bloody paper fell out from Thoma's pocket.... Ayato pickit up and in the front was written “For My Lord, Kamisato Ayato”

Ayato stared at the letter for a moment before unfolding it while Thoma's lifeless body was in his arms... Ayato's heart feels heavy as he read the letter...

“To my dearest Lord Ayato..

...Greetings My Lord, how are you?...

...Sorry if this letter is a bit messy, I am in quite rush haha.......

...Anyway, Please do read this ti'll the very end.....

...My Lord, do you still remember the first time we have met? It was when my family worked in the Kamisato residence.. The first time I saw you, I thought you were a girl, you were so cute! I had a crush on you back then.. a week then later, my mother told me that you were a boy. I was shock back then, I thought my feelings for you would be gone at that time.. But only, my feelings for you only grow as we grew up together....

...Back then, I was planning on confessing to you.. But since you said you're getting married, I thought I should keep my feelings for my self... I just want you to know that, I still have feelings for you......

.......I'm sorry My Lord.. For I, was born as a male... That I cannot give birth for your heir... I just wish to stay by your side, but since it means you not being in peace because of me.. I choose to be silent... Anyway, since I will not be able to make it to your wedding.. I will say it in this letter... Congratulations, My Lord. Please live a happy and healthy life......

Ayato cried as he held Thoma in his arms. Little that Thoma had know, that same day he died.. Ayato actually cancelled the wedding and was to tell Thoma that morning, that he will no longer getting married... But only to find Thoma, lying in the floor lifeless...

As tears streams down his cheeks, Ayato held Thoma''s hand and kisses him in the forforehead.

Ayato: “𝐈 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐓𝐨𝐨...”
