backstory

Augustus is first prince of the Almir empire... his father, the emperor married his mother due to political reasons.. they had a child later on, though they(emperor and empress) never loved each other, they were loyal to each other, until the emperor found his love in a commoner after the empress passed away due to a disease

the emperor took his love and made her his concubine, they later had 2 illegitimate sons

his love, the concubine passed away few years later giving birth

those two illegitimate sons were given more importance than Augustus

they found new ways to torment him but he stood up against all those, the emperor turned blind eye to this and didn't stop those two

they later ganged up on him and made a plan to kill him...they sent assassins, Augustus fought them but was badly injured and fell of the cliff... isabella found him while wandering around on a horse and captured him

she treated him and imprisoned him...she then began to brainwash him slowly
