Chapter 3

---Light Village---

Qingyuan put on his disguise and had a veil covering half of his face. In his hands he carried a black sword, on his back he carried a sword tightly wrapped in cloth.

On the way Qingyuan encountered a group of black clothed who were fighting with a group of armys. "Killer? Did you come to kill me?" Qingyuan asked grinning.

The assassin group retreated. The shocked army group fell silent. "You are Liang Yue?" Ask someone from the assassin group. "You're the leader." Qingyuan said laughing. In an instant the leader of the assassins fainted while the person he was carrying died with a neck wound.

"Are you the prince, Liang Yue?" asked the leader of the warrior group. "You are the General in charge of the Border Light Village named Su Lanying. Why are you here?" Qingyuan asked calmly. "I was assigned to look for you." explained the General of Light Village, Su Lanying.

"Eunuch Chen has arrived?" Qingyuan asked flatly. "That's right, he's in the military barracks." Answer Lanying. Qingyuan lifted the leader of the assassin group over his shoulders. Lanying and his troops were quite shocked.

"You go first." Qingyuan said flatly. Lanying led the way while his troops cleaned up the corpses of the assassin group.

@Lanying's tent

"It's already late. Why is General Su still not back?" Eunuch Chen asked annoyed. "Soon." Deputy general Ling replied calmly. "Shouldn't you be going too?" Eunuch Chen urged.

"If he leaves, who will guard the military barracks if the enemy attacks?" Said Qingyuan came in and threw the assassin leader. "You?!" Eunuch Chen said angrily.

"What did you do to me? When I was little, I still remember. Also this scar on my face. I can kill you now and leave without anyone catching me." Qingyuan said coldly.

"You are so brave! I..." Eunuch Chen was cut off. "If I told the Empress Dowager, what did you do to Li Shihan to make her confess to a crime she didn't commit? What will the Empress Dowager do to you?" Qingyuan asked flatly.

"You?!" Eunuch Chen said at a loss for words. "Liang Yue, accept the royal decree." Eunuch Chen said immediately changing the topic. Everyone knelt down but Qingyuan stood up. Eunuch Chen had no choice but to recite the edict.

[His Imperial Majesty orders Liang Yue to immediately enter the capital, Bright City to visit the empress dowager. The ban on entering the capital for Liang Yue is lifted from today.]

Qingyuan took the royal edict. "Please be prepared." Eunuch Chen said leaving. Qingyuan looked at Lanying and Deputy General Ling. "What you heard today pretend you didn't hear." Qingyuan said flatly. "Understand." Deputy General Ling replied. Lanying just stared at Qingyuan silently.

That same night Qingyuan left for the capital, Bright City. "He's had pretty bad luck." Lanying said with a sigh. "It's not as bad as you. After only two months of marriage, you were already sent to the border. Luckily for those two months, you were diligent enough so your wife now has a child accompanying her." Deputy General Ling teased.

"Shut up. Unfortunately my father and mother, can't hold their grandchild." Lanying said sadly. "That's right, your father and mother died on the battlefield. That was also the reason you came here and left your wife, Fei Yuxi, with your sister, Su Liqiu." Deputy General Ling said sympathetically.

"I heard rumors that your wife has a special relationship with Liang Yue. He returned to the capital, won't steal your wife right?" Deputy General Ling asked worriedly. "I don't think so. I trust Yuxi." Lanying said smiling. Deputy General Ling smiled.

The journey to the capital is quite a lot of obstacles. Like the leader of the assassins who tried to kill themselves with poison, Qingyuan was rescued him but not free. Qingyuan tortured the assassin by giving him another poison that could withstand the poison he drank the first time.

Or suddenly Eunuch Chen needs to rest. It took two full weeks due to the trips that were always postponed by Eunuch Chen. When we reached the capital, it was already afternoon. Qingyuan was staying at the inn. That night Qingyuan secretly sneaked out and went to another inn.

@Song Bowen and Lan Feiyu's room

"Shidi." Called Qingyuan who came in from the window. "You guessed right. She's coming too." Bowen explained. "I told you she's just the dog of Lord Ming." Obviously Qingyuan.

Feiyu looked at Qingyuan seriously. "Have you taken the antidote?" Feiyu asked. Qingyuan nodded. "The poison is gone." Qingyuan said smiling. "Don't get hurt again." Feiyu said sincerely. Qingyuan nodded with a smile.

"You in your disguise, where are you going?" asked Bowen. "To the Palace. There are three people, I have to meet them." Obviously Qingyuan. "You want us to come?" Feiyu asked. "No need, I will go alone. Jianghu and Court are not one way. After all is done, I want to return to Blue Sect." Qingyuan said smiling.

"That's good." Feiyu said smiling. Qingyuan smiled. "This little brother will go first. See you later." Qingyuan said leaving from the window. "I know, he called us shidi to find out if anyone was here." Bowen grumbled angrily.

"He is indeed younger than us but he entered Blue Sect first. So of course he doesn't want to be called Shixiong." Feiyu said calmly. "You always spoil him." grunted Bowen. "I still lost to you, Song Shixiong." Feiyu said flatly. Bowen held back his annoyance.

---Imperial Palace---

°Phoenix Palace°

Li Meihui (Empress), Liang Xue (Crown Prince) and Liang Heng (Emperor) sat there together. "Long time no see, Father, Mother, Eldest Brother." Qingyuan said in. "Ah Yue?" Liang Heng said in shock.

Qingyuan lifted the veil. "Who made your face like that?!" Liang Xue said angrily. Qingyuan smiled before tearing off the skin clinging to his face. The three people there were shocked. "If my face is not treated, chances are my face will be damaged like before." Obviously Qingyuan.

"Who did it?" Liang Xue asked angrily. "Of course, palace person." Qingyuan said smiling. "This is my real face. When I wear my disguise later, it doesn't include tricking the Emperor." Qingyuan said flatly.

"Then father I warned you not to let this matter out. Otherwise, I could kill you without mercy." Qingyuan said coldly. "You dare!" Emperor Liang said angrily.

"Of course I dare, you killed me when you sent you out of this accursed palace." Qingyuan said angrily. Emperor Liang was furious and left. "Mother, do you often feel dizzy?" Qingyuan asked worriedly.

"How do you know?" Empress Li asked confusedly. "Mother was poisoned." Qingyuan replied. "What?!" Liang Xue said angrily.
