I was clothed and was ready to face the people. I simply wore a cocktail dress. ignoring the invitation that implied that we should wear something fancy. For crying out loud. I'm eighteen. An introvert eighteen-year-old, which explains the light make-up and untied hair.
My own eyes found itself on the picture nearby. it was taken a year ago before Jennie moved out the country with her Aunt. We were both dressed in a similar style since it was her who made an effort to change the both of us.
Then my mind wondered over the chances of me finding my mate.

**Shake his head and unconsciously brought his hand up and caressed his necklace.**
My thoughts were once again interrupted when I heard the doorbell. It was hobi hung I can tell.

My eyes wondered at his hair that looked like he run his hand over it multiple times but it still achieved the look. I suppose, he was going for. His black tuxedo fitted his body perfectly. emphasizing the muscles he has developed over the years.

Hobi hung's voice echoed in the house which made me go to the car like a lightning bolt. There are people in there! My parents would' ve heard him and I'm pretty sure I'll get an earful.
He looked at me weirdly before he slowly made his way to the car with a little frown.

On the way we kept on talking about this party and our mates. He told me his mate will be extremely hot blah blah blah that made me cringe in disgust when he mentioned about certain parts.
I looked closely at him. He looked like one of the playboys who sleeps with any girl and Omega and a complete total jerk, but in reality he's the complete opposite, he's extremely nice and friendly and he's the type who will protect you with what's he got.

I didn't realize that we were already there before hobi hung opened the door on my side and offered his hand. I looked at the hou- No, mansion. It was like the mansion from 'The Last Song: big and white.
A guy opened the door and I can't help but blush as I felt someone whistle. And a low growl escaped from hobi hung looking at the boy with a cup of vodka on his hands.

I said as I elbowed him. I don't have a brother so I'm happy that hobi hung here. But sometimes he was like more of a brother.
He smirked then made his way towards an empty table. I bumped into someone while I was heading towards hobi hung who was talking to his ex-girlfriend Valerie. He was happy I can tell. I can't believe they weren't mates, they look exactly like one.
The night was going fine before I heard someone snicker.

Suzy looked at me like a gum stuck in her shoes.

She's the **** one, talk back! My wolf growled inside of me. He was insulted and I can feel he wanting to rip Suzy's throat out, but I can't.
I looked at my shoes avoiding her intense glare. Honestly, I was trying to cover my eyes that were starting to change colors.
"Good" she continued after she realized I'll stay still like a 'good dog'.
She made her way to her girlfriend's bumping me in the process of showing her butt. A girl was passing by so by reflex she helped me stood up.
I gave her a smile as thanks and a nod to say that I was alright.

I looked at hobi hung who was motioning me to sit in their table which was filled with people I don't know. At first. I tried to look around. wishing that there was an empty space which weren't filled with people.
In the end. I ended up trying to be comfortable with my chair, so that I won't die of boredom and butt problems.
And I decided to play with the bottom of my dress

After an hour of being bored to death. Alpha Jeon finally gave up on playing hide and seek with the poor helper.

My grip on Hobi hung shoulder only made it tighter when the man looked at me. touching his beard in the process. Yeah I'm holding on to my 'father' practically begging him not to let me go. I tighten my grip and realized it was all muscle... Wow.
He looked at me with a grin on his face, and again. he read my mind.
With that thought I hurried my way to the line. I looked at hobi hung and mouthed the words 'l-cant' and he just gave me a thumbs up and a weak smile.

The line was faster than I thought, because I'll be facing him in any minute now... please so I can go home!
Then there was a strong scent that I can't explain... It smells like trees and fresh fruits at the market. It was so beautiful that I closed my eyes.
I was too busy looking around to see who owns that I haven't noticed that the man in front in my age was looking in my direction.
He walked past me and held the hands at the girl behind me and he said 'Mine'. and then they both stormed out of the room holding hands living happily ever after.

What a relief I thought that, that guys' mate was me!
Then that guy stood right in front of me with a confused look. Oh I was daydreaming...
I moved to his left to give them space, you're blocking his way dimwit!
But instead of holding the girls hand just like in my imagination. he walked towards me eyeing me head to toe then straight into my eyes, I looked at my right and left then at my back to see who he was referring to. but I saw no one. I point to myself before asking 'Me?'
