This function is called 'haldi', which is celebrated by applying turmeric on the bride and the groom.

Suddenly, someone knocks on the door. Raféal gets irritated and Renée starts laughing.

When Raféal goes to open the door, Renée runs to the washroom. The islanders give Raféal some blankets. He thanks them and closes the door.
Raféal changes his clothes and Renée also comes out changing her clothes. When she comes out she sees Raféal is lying on the bed. She silently lies besides him.

The tourists and The Williams and Wilsons start a bonfire and sings. Then they start playing truth and dare.
Renée and Raféal are sitting opposite sides of each other. Raféal is constantly looking at her but she is not looking at him even for once.
They spin the bottle and it stops in front of Raféal and Raféal chooses truth.

Then Jack spins the bottle and it stops in front of a tourist and he chooses truth.

They again spin the bottle and it again stops in front of Raféal but this time, he takes dare.

Raféal comes in the room and starts breaking things. He gets really furious about what just happened.
He gathered all his courage to confess his love to Renée. But when he did, she found that all a lie. His heart broke into pieces. His love... his first love and confession went so terrible that he doesn't know what to do.
He wants to suppress his anger because he knows if he gets into another argument with Renée, this time he might hurt her. So he just lies on the floor and closes his eyes.

Suddenly, Renée enters in the room, she finds out that Raféal is sleeping on the floor. Renée kneels in front of him but his eyes are closed.

Raféal doesn't say anything or opens his eyes. He just rolls on the other side. Renée is now facing Raféal's back.

Renée can't fall asleep but Raféal doesn't even move from his place. She assumes that Raféal is sleeping. She just gets down from the bed and lies beside him on the floor.
