Birthday Gift

Michiko's P.O.V

I'm currently in front of the party hall of my sister's birthday expecting my husband. As Noriko said i wore a simple white dress without so much decorations and i wore a light make up and leave my hair to be free.

I waited patiently to my husband to show up , after 30 minutes or so he finally showed up. He was dazzling in his suit. i stared at him up and down shamelessly . His suit is so simple but he looks so handsome in it. His sharp features never failed to amaze me. His presence itself screamed power. i like the way his look screamed how powerful he is even in a simple outfit

"you are so handsome" i smiled kissing his cheek. "thank you" he said without an emotion as he walked inside with me trailing behind him .

"MICHIKOOOO" i heard my bestfriend's cheerful voice and i turned around to see her running towards me. "Oh my You look BEAUTIFUL" she screamed excitedly as she hugged me. i hugged her back then she looked at Kazue,my husband and glared at him. do i saw it clear? Did she just glared at him? no way i think my eyes are playing tricks on me. "Hey Noriko" Kazue said as he smiled a little but for my surprise Stella ignored him and started to chatting with me. Noriko and Kazue are good friends i knew it after our marriage so when they meet each other they spend the time happily but today she ignored him. i was surprised and i know there is something wrong . i have to talk with her later about this.

After an hour or so my stepmother came out with my sister to the hall. She was wearing a white dress and she looks so dazzling in it. she is beautiful and at the same time so sexy. No wonder that she is a top model .

I smiled at her but deep inside my heart, i felt something bad is going to happened but i shrugged it off. i saw Ren stood beside her wrapping his arm around her waist. Oh how much i wish Kazue will do the same to me but he never did it except sometimes like when another man flirting with me. He is possessive over me. He never let me wear so much revealing clothes and whenever a man come near me he will show his possessiveness.

I saw my stepmother coming towards me. i visibly gulped when i saw her. "oh you are here? " she said "hi" i mumbled slowly. "i hope you wouldn't ruin my daughter's birthday " she said sternly and looked at Kazue "how are you my son? Our Misa and me missed you so much" she hugged him and he hugged her back. "i like to talk with you a lot but son i need to check the birthday cake, i will be back soon" she smiled at him sweetly and glared at me. I looked down with fear radiating in my eyes.

I felt Kazue's gaze on me. "are you afraid of her?" his deep yet sexy voice echoed in my ears. i nod my head still looking down and i suddenly felt his hand caressing my hair ever so softly. This small action make thousands of fire works around me. i can't help but smiled at this warm gesture. It send a warm feeling to my heart but it didn't last long my sister came towards us and hugged me.

"hey Michiko" she said "Happy birthday sister" i smiled kissing her cheek. "Thank you " she scanned me up and down. "still the naive girl who don't know anything, so stupid " i heard her mumbled then she turned towards Kazue and smiled at him "hi handsome" she said hugging him i felt like my heart was getting stabbed when i saw Kazue hugging my sister back with a bright smile.

i felt so sad but there is nothing i can do so i looked down sadly then i felt someone's hand on my waist i turned to my side and saw my brother smiling at me "Ichiro, Oh my good" i hugged him tightly. i missed him so much and i know he did too. he hugged me back tightly while smiling. "how is my princess doing hmm? missed me?" He asked still smiling . "yes a lot i missed you a lot, where is dad?" i asked smiling happily."he is still in Italy he said something like he messed up the deal so he wouldn't be able to come" he said while taking a glass of white wine. i felt Kazue's gaze on me and turned around finding him smiling happily with Misa while looking at me. i felt a pain in my chest but i ignored it.

"hey Ichiro" i saw Noriko coming towards us with Ivan following her. "hey Noriko" he greeted back "Hey buddy" Ichiro smiled and hugged Ren, you know bro hug. "hey Ichiro after long time." Ren said smiling. "you know business is my life" Ichiro said as i rolled my eyes. we were kept talking with each other until the cake arrived Ethan came towards me as Misa went to the front. We sang happy birthday to her and we all lined up to wish her personally and give her our presents.

When it time to give Kazue's present. He smiled at her and turned towards us. "my present is in outside of this hall"he said and smiled at Misa. he walked outside with her while we are following them.

I gasped as i saw what his present to her. it was a car not just a car it's an an Audi.

"OH MY GOD KAZUE" she hugged him and runs to the car happily "you are the best " she said again while checking her car. i saw my stepmother smirking at me. He never gave these types of gifts to me more like he never gifted something to me. i smiled at everyone but deep inside my heart it hurts a lot. "are you okay? " i heard Nori asking me. "i'm alright" i said as i flashed a fake smile to her. " i know you are not, neither do i" Ren said while looking at Misa "i don't like when other man making her happy and touching her other than me " he said again. "i-i umm i'm ok with it, she is my sister, it's okay Kaz to spoil her " i said while looking down "You have a big heart Michi" Noriko said with an unreadable expression on her face.

i should be happy for Misa but actually it hurts to see my husband taking care of her more than me.My mind is messed up. i felt lots of emotions pooling inside my heart so i went outside and sat on a bench near a big tree. i plugged my earphones and put some music to calm myself. after one hour or so i felt a presence beside me.

"i need to show you something Claire" i heard the man beside me telling.
