Today is the same as the other days.

I'm Elora Lavingstrange, the second daughter of King Arthur Herrington... my mother the queen passed away when my older sister and I were born.

I was labeled as the bad luck by the kingdom but my sister and father disagreed. They've tried their best to protect me and love me from the deepest of their heart.

Not long after my sister and I turned 12, a hurdle entered our life.

My father saved a woman while he was on a hunt. She drugged him and become the first concubine.

Today is the day that me and my sister turn 16. It is also the princess coronation day.

She sounded happy as she held my hand. I looked at the crowd with a mixed feeling as my gaze slowly moves to the throne and the buildings outside.

I didn't get why people fought for this chair made out of gold, I didn't get why people are so ambitious... but there is one thing I knew certainly...

Becoming the queen isn't meant for me. This kingdom can only have one ruler.
