My new boss

*smack*

" Reneir Velva, would you stop scaring my kid with those nonsense of yours." I said irritation clear in my tone.

"Tay Archet, what's with your hobby, smacking my head. And it's not nonsense vampires do exist" my best buddy from college argued back caressing the place where I had hit earlier.

"Yes of course. And they are your relatives" I said because my daughter was now sobbing endlessly, her ocean blue like eyes red and swollen. Seeing my child in such pitiful state anger filled me up as I glared Ren who is now munching potato chips and watching horror movies on television.

Sighing in defeat I pick Syrie in my arms and walked towards our bedroom. After some struggle, I somehow managed to put Syrie to sleep before lying on bed myself.

Tay Archet, an orphan from childhood am now 27 and at my prime age already married and divorced, parenting my beautiful little daughter Syrie Archet. I have got no complain about my life. I have a stable job as a music teacher in a high school one neighborhood across , graduated with fairly high grades majored in music and art and had recently applied for personal assistant to a popular singer Ivan De Velline. I am glad that I got accepted and had to report tomorrow sharp 6 in the morning.

Walking through the office corridor I was dead worried thinking about my daughter because this was the first time I left home without Syrie's knowledge and I don't know how would she react? Lost in my own small world I accidentally bumped with a cold rock hard chest and halted few steps back.

'That must have given a lump.'

Furrowing my brows in pain,, I looked up only to be caught by those deep pitch black eyes pulling me inward momentarily hypnotizing my senses.

It took a long before I return to earth and apologized. Without spending another moment I hastily walked towards reception where they assigned one of their worker who took me inside the waiting hall and the guide person walked away after advising me to wait there.

Settling on a chair nearby out of my habit I started to chewing on my nails. I was too nervous to even look around and the continuous wait was killing me inside.

I look towards my watch, an hour has passed but my new boss never showed up. More the time passes, more impatient I became. Restlessness grew even more. Just as I was about to find someone to ask, I noticed the figure earlier from this morning entering the office.

What? That person is----------the famous idol Ivan De Velline. Too shocked I didn't realize when I entered the office and was now sitting opposite to my new boss.

Those pitch black eyes of other man extraordinarily handsome staring at me like a prey got me weak and trembling and the next second I heard him say-

" Tay Archet, 27 years old, a high school teacher, majored in arts and music and now my personal assistant, welcome to the job you can move to my villa this evening. You are dismissed now. "

Still in dazed I was packing my things back in my apartment. It was good thing that Syrie agreed to stay with Ren.

After everything was prepared I bid goodbye to both Syrie and Ren before planting a kiss on my daughter's fluffy cheek.

"Take care baby, daddy will come visit you" Saying this I entered the car that was here to pick me up and we drove towards my future that hold many surprises, ups and downs to both Ivan and myself.
