"what will I do once I finish the game?" I thought.

"Or more like, what will happen to me?" I thought as I walked back and forth.

Come to think of it, What happened to Ilya before I had possessed this body? According to the maid, I had fallen down the horse and then bumped my head to the ground. It was rather strange.

I looked outside the window and noticed.

Come to think of it, Those birds make noises at this time always.

I stepped out of the palace and reached the glass house.

As I took a step forward, I heard a man's voice.

"How dare you hurt our princess! It has been proven you did something to the horse!" A man shouted.

The kid trembled as the man slapped him.

How could he do this to a mere child? It is impossible for that child to hurt the horse.

My eyes furrowed and I decided to interfere.

"What do you think you are doing? Punishing a child in front of your master?!" I scolded him as I looked at him with icy glare. I was even surprised as I saw a whip with him.

The man shaked as he wasn't expecting me to come.

"S-she.... that child did something to your horse princess!" The man shouted trying to defend himself.

As If I would believe him.

The first time I locked my gaze to the kid, I knew. She didn't do this.

"Is there any proof?" I asked as I glared at him.

"Th-there isn't. B-but she is in charge of the animals in the palace!" The man shouted trying to make me believe him.

I sneered at him and laughed.

"Do you expect me to believe that? This kid right here has taken care of the animals here. Compared to you, who did nothing despite being also in charge of the animals! If you really think he is the culprit, why don't I investigate you thoroughly too?!" I said trying to make make me look scary.

The man trembled and knelt down before me.

"I apologize your highness! I didn't mean to! I was just concerned for your safety!" The man said expecting me to forgive him.

I laughed and smirked.

"Hey, you there, get him and beat him 100 times" I said as I looked at the man with no hint of mercy at all.

"No! Your Highness, spare me!!!" The man shouted as he was dragged away.

I looked at the child and stared at her.

"What is your name, kid?" I asked.

"Your Highness, my name is Jean. I don't have a last name" The kid introduced herself as she gently held the tips of her dress and bowed down gently to me. It's as if she is a noble.

"So kid, what do you know about the horse?" I asked her as I thought she would know something about the incident.

"Liz won't do something like hurting you, princess! She was just scared...." The kid said avoiding my gaze as she was afraid I would punish the horse.

'Liz.... that must be the horse's name'

"I do believe you. Don't worry" I smiled.

"Kid..." I was cut off as a very loud noise-

"GAWK GAWK"

"CHIRP CHIRP"

I was surprised as-

"NEIGH!!!!" The horse panicked and tried to escape.

"No, Liz!!! It's okay! You're fine!" The kid shouted as she calmed down the horse.

It is rather strange....

"Kid, why did the horse act like that?" I asked as I noticed something wrong.

"Your Highness, everytime the birds made a sound at this exact time, Liz panics and tries to escape. I don't know the reason...." The kid said as she looked gloomy and down.

I think.... I get it now....

From that man who was trying to get rid of the kid, to the horse accident and to the bird's noises. I get it now.

It was all because of.... this glasshouse.

No one would want to hurt me except him. According to the maid's words, the exact time where I fell off the horse was around 10. Right now, it should be around 10. The time where the birds would make noises.

Seeing how the man has a whip with him and is trying to get rid of the kid, this man..... is hurting the horse. Everytime the birds make noises, it is a signal that the horse would be beaten. The noise of the birds are a cover for the noise of the hurt horse. And so, the time where I rode the horse, it is the exact time the birds made noises which the horse was afraid of. As it is the sign he'd be beaten. As the horse panicked, I fell down causing me to almost die. Thinking back also, Zenith was the one who invited Ilya to ride the horse. It's just all his plan. To break the engagement. But did this ever happen in the game?

But still, his intentions are clear.

He wants to kill me.
