Chapter 4 - Bloom

The next day, at lunchtime, Zander cooked and he called Rina so that they can eat.

“Rina?” he said

“Honey, are you in our bedroom?” he added.

No Rina can be seen in the bedrooms, in the kitchen, in the bathroom and even outside the house. Zander was really puzzled and worried.

“No. Rina, where are you?” he said worriedly.

On the other hand, Zandro, his twin brother

(On the call)

“Oh okay. Just let me know anything.” He said.

He off the phone and sighed.

“Geez! I can’t believe. Heh! You will know, you *****, who you are bumping into.” He said fiercely.

“I’ll take back what’s mine and mine alone.” He added.

Back to Zander’s. He went back inside thinking that Rina went through the backdoor of the kitchen but still nothing. He closed the door and when he turned around, Rina suddenly appeared in front of him.

“Oh, Honey!” he said.

“Where have you been?” he added worriedly.

He’s quite shocked, as if he was intimidated. Rina was just starting at him. Then they go to the dining table and eat together. Rina suddenly spoke,

“Honey?” her tenderness to him.

“Yes, Honey?” he replied.

“You really love me .. then .. you won’t leave me?” Rina replied

and Zander stopped and gasped at her.

“Yes, I won’t leave you. I love you so much.” He replied to Rina and he held her hand.

“I love you more, Zander.” Rina replied and they kissed.

“And .. of course, our soon-to-be baby. Love you.” He kissed her belly.

Then they finished eating. Then the afternoon came, and all their worked been finished. He finished his masterpieces. It was he built an playground for their future kids in front of their backyard.

Then the night came, Zander suddenly woke up and Rina was not by his side. It was dark all around, so he lit the lamp.

He was looking for his wife in other bedrooms, even in the bathroom and he slowly looked at the kitchen.

“Honey? Where are you?” he asked while searching her.

“Rina” he added.

Rina was there standing in front but her back was facing Zander.

Then she slowly walked backwards, barefoot. Zander wasn’t scared, Rina suddenly walked fast in front of him, then she stopped. (Gasp) Rina suddenly appeared, she yelled loudly and strangled Zander with a strange force.

“Rina, Rina! Wake up!” he said.

He didn’t hurt her, because of their baby. Zander escaped and quickly ran to the living room, but Rina grabbed him and threw him to their room. Zander then collapsed.

Later, Rina was in front of him and stabbed twenty times on his stomach. But before he lost his breath, Zander still said while his hand reaching Rina’s face,

“No m-matter what .. I l-love .. y-you, R-rina .. I-I’ll be w-with y-you a- always ..”

Then he died his hand dropped. Rina kissed his lips before her plan to begin. The curse overtook her soul and the dark energies were scattered inside the house.

Back to Zandro’s. He was so fierce and he went to Rina’s residence but it seemed to be very far. Even the rough road slowed his way.

“I’m coming, my dear brother. I’m going to save you from her. Just wait for me.” He said.

“You’ll going to regret this, you *****!” he said

Back to Rina’s. She took a bucket of water and soaked Zander’s corpse on the bed, neatly placing his corpse there.

Then Rina poured gasoline all over the mansion, only Zander’s room had water all around it. But she poured aromatic scent all over Zander’s corpse she changed their outfits.

The fire broke out, she returned to the room then Rina stabbed herself three times in the chest and laid down as if she and Zander were just sleeping.

Back to Zandro’s. He got stucked there and he spent his night on a little cabin. Early in the morning, the news on a TV reached Zandro about what happened to Zander. His plan is to lose that woman in Zander’s life, because he doesn’t want a competitor.

(News on TV)

“There’s an old mansion in the middle of a forest, had been torn down to ashes because a sudden fire broke last night. And not a single person, survived. The poor newly wedded couple died from that fire-“

“No!” he yelled.

“This can’t be. AAAAAAAAHHHH!” he added.

“You will pay for this! You will pay .. AAAAHHH!” he wept loudly.

The car driver stood besides him and comforted him. He cried for Zander’s death after the news spread that the mansion was burned.

He went there to checked some of the belongings of his brother. Then the news approached to the rest of his family.

They all mourned. A several months later, from a deep sleep, she suddenly opens her eyes and wears an evil smile.

After that year, after he suffered from his brother’s death, Zandro adopted a baby girl. The baby is cute and has an angelic face. He took care of her and owned her as his own. He’s about to cry but he saw a name tagged on her anklet that her name is Merina.

“Oh! So, your name will be, Merina.” He said.

And he kissed the baby’s forehead. He hummed a lullaby so that the baby would sleep.

Back to Rina’s. She is humming a lullaby. She looked at her loving husband’s corpse beside her. His face was peaceful like he was sleeping deeply. She is humming, caressing him and hugged him. She sang her favorite song.

“Sleep, my beloved, husband.

Sleep my, prince.

Sleep my, Romeo.

May you feel the silence of the night in your sleep.

The night is long,

You are here by my side.

I love you, and our love will always be our guide.”

The humming sound continues. After she woke up, the house was revived as if nothing had happened there. And it became a beautiful home.

Rina and Zander stood there staring outside the window. He was hugging Rina at her back. And Rina reached out her right hand to his face.

Then they kissed each other.

(Merina is the daughter of Zander and Rina).
