Peacefully working in his office, Jungkook was interrupted by a knock.

"Sir, someone is here to see you" Said Catherine, his secretary.

"Let them in, and thank you" Jungkook answered not looking up from his computer. When the door opened, he tensed up as he smelled his father's scent.

Since the day Jungkook turned twenty, his father kept telling him to find somebody else, because he's not going to find his mate, but he keeps reminding the elder that he will stay loyal to his true mate.

"Father"

"Ah my son, I see you are quite busy. "

"Yes, I am, and why are you here?"

"I'm here to tell you, I found a beautiful girl that will make a perfect mate for you, she doesn't have a mate either, you two will be perfect together"

Shaking his head, Jungkook tries to ignore him.

"Father, thank you for trying to get me a mate, but until I find my true mate I will not mate with anyone else" He answers.

He can't be mad at his father, he knows the elder just wants him to be happy and settle down with someone lovely.

After two minutes of silence, his father spoke, "Son, I know you want your mate, but what if your mate is not even born yet or worse died?"

Jungkook couldn't take it anymore.

"You would be happier if that happened, right? Then I would finally be mating with the girls you keep bringing to me, well guess what? If my mate is alive, I will look for them and if they are dead, I'd rather stay alone"

He snaps at his father who was looking at him shook since the younger is usually calm.

"Now please leave I have work to finish, and say hello to mother" Jungkook said not looking at his father who was still in shock.

Silently, his dad left the office and went out of the building to the garage. Driving home he was thinking about what his son said.
