CHAPTER 4

Zachary was standing in front of a shop, hands in pocket, after thinking for five minutes he went inside to the reception and snatched the newspaper from the man who was sitting there .

"Hey Dad!" I called my dad who was pretending to read the newspaper .

"Zack can't you act like a normal person,why did you snatch my newspaper?!".

"Dad firstly, you weren't reading because the paper was upside down and secondly, no I can't, it's in my genes we aren't normal people".

"Okay, back to business Zack, why are you here?".

"Dad you told me to find out about the kidnapping of my school kid, so I've done it."

"Hold it Zack not here, upstairs!"

As I said, we aren't normal people, me and my dad are special agents, my dad is senior undercover agent and I'm a junior undercover agent we have code names too, I'm 009 and dad is 2003 but for the public dad is a bookshop owner ,even the employees working here are agents. My mom and sister don't know about our work either.

I reached the third floor which is forbidden to customers because the last bookshelf is a secret door to our base . I went there and pulled out the blue book and the gate opened .

My dad followed behind, sat on his chair and told me to start the details.

"Okay, as I was saying I got the details which are...

Flashback to Zachery's School

Zachery went to Chris's classroom to do investigation before anyone entered. He couldn't get the footage because camera was broken at the front entrance, but going through his stuff he found a notebook and one thing caught his eye, in which there were some pictures of a man beating a boy, the boy was crying in other pictures but in one pic a different guy was holding the same boy's hand and the boy was laughing. He didn't notice the time and the class started to fill with a few students two boys came straight to him and asked who he was . Zachery introduced himself as a grade b student and wanted to know why Chris got kidnapped so he came to his class.

"We are not telling you anything we are his best friends,'' one of the boys said.

"Well, I have a packet of candies ", by hook or by crook I have to get information, Zack thought.

"Okay we'll tell you", the boys agreed. "Chris was upset from few days ,he was our best friend we used to play a lot but then he stopped playing and became quiet, we asked him what had happened but he only cried and used to say he'll run away from home his step father is really mean and his mother didn't believe him ,but one day he was really happy he bought a bag full of candies for us ,he said his biological father is back they didn't tell their mother that they were meeting secretly. He will go with his father one day then his step father will not upset him.

Zachery told this story to his father but before giving any proof he asked for the payment .

"Pay me, sir, or no evidence".

"009 you're the richest kid aren't you satisfied ".

"No, still not enough as the saying goes, no money, no life , so dad pay me first".

"Fine you win!" My dad started typing on his phone when my phone blinked, I knew the payment was received .

"Here you go dad, the evidence", When I was going outside I remembered.

"Ooo, dad aren't you forgetting something", I asked my dad with an evil smile.

"No son ,what is it,'' my dad was still confused about what he forgot .

"Okay, I'll tell you but pay me first ", now I was more excited.

"You rotten egg just tell me already.'' Dad was angry now.

"Okay, I'll give you a hint ,you promised mom something and you forgot".

"Oh, I still can't remember, just tell me already".

"Nope pay me first in hand ." I smirked

"Fine here you go" he took out 100 Euro  from his pocket and I happily took it.

"You promised mom for the shopping and dinner date and now it's already 7".

"Oh Mother fucker! thanks Zachery now get the hell out of my office".

When I left the office, I laughed wickedly because I lied to my father, mom told dad to buy groceries and to baby sit me because mom has a party with her friends and now she is late.
