CHAPTER 3

"If looks could kill I'm pretty sure I'd be dead by now." I'm saying this because Juliet is giving me death glares and cursing me in her mind.

The reason is without asking her I agreed to go with the boys because Ronald's car is way cooler than public transport.

So, here we are at Granny's. It is a nice outdoor option. Lovely warm atmosphere, quirky decor that was a talking point and very friendly staff. Interesting and unusual choices on the menu.It gets busy during the day, but the early morning hours are usually quiet.It is really famous for cinnamon buns.

When we entered Nonna was busy arranging the counter. Nonna is the Granny of this cafe and a very sweet lady.

"Hey Nonna!", Me and Juliet said at the same time.

"Ooh! Hey girls, didn't expect to see you on a weekend and I see you have brought friends along". Nonna smirked in triumph,

Before we could say anything, Samuel interrupted by holding his hand to her.

"Hey Nonna, I'm Samuel and this is Ronald".

"How lovely! Make yourself comfortable, I'll serve you my freshly baked buns and coffee". Granny went inside.

We took the front seat from the counter, only few people were around, a group of boys on the left, a guy reading a newspaper on the right and two waiters cleaning the floor and tables.

"So you guys come here often." Samuel asked

"Yeah! It's a really cozy place and we love it here." Juliet answered him.

"Excuse me guys I need to go to the restroom.'' I said while standing up.

I was watching her from far when my phone rang.

"Hello, where are you?". The person on the other line said.

"I'm here watching her". I said while still watching them.

"She has to die today". The person ordered me

"I've done my part, I told the waiter to put poison in her drink.'' I said.

"Okay, we'll see". The call disconnected.

We saw the waiter coming our way with buns and coffee. "You are new here?".
