Taehyung looked at him and gave a resigned sigh. Jungkook was indeed always sincere. “Your brother, he did not mean what he said. He probably feels very guilty for having said all this to you now. It is you who always encourages me, who competes with me, who supports me, who plays with me, who loves me unconditionally. You are my best friend and I wouldn’t trade you for anyone else in the world.”. Taehyung stayed silent and didn’t meet Jungkook’s eyes as he spoke. “And don’t think for a moment that the others see you as a burden. The others love you so much. You help them so much. Your friendly character makes us all so happy. You are such a caring and considerate person, you inspire Namjoon hyung, you encourage Yoongi hyung, you support Hobi hyung, you give confidence to Seokjin hyung. And even though Jimin hyung takes care of you really well, you take care of him too. You are always there for him whenever he feels insecure. You never fail to cheer him up when he is sad. You support him whenever he tries something new. You indulge him in everything he wants to do with you. Taehyung, we all love you so so much. And if that is not apparent to you, then that is our mistake, not your shortcoming.” Jungkook hugged Taehyung close to his chest. Taehyung’s breathing had calmed down and he reciprocated Jungkook’s hug.
