is a princess of a Chinese Kingdom, Yeng Kingdom.

She is known for her beauty and talents. Men are always roaming around her to woo her.

The King of Yeng Kingdom, King Ye Baek Hi, had two queens.

One is his chief wife or the Queen, Ye Sehwa.

And the other one is his unloved concubine, Ye Juwa.

Concubine Ye Juwa is a minister's daughter, whom the king had to marry to stabilize the ministry section.

The King never talked or approached Ye Juwa, let alone love her.

She was a proud daughter who thought that she will be able to receive the love of the king. But no miracle happened with her.

On the other hand, Queen Ye Sehwa was the king's first and last love.

She is the "Mother of the Kingdom". Everyone loves her for kindness, generosity and down to earth personality.

The King and the Queen had twin sons, Ye Xilin and Ye Myung.

After the king's forceful second marriage, the Queen broke down mentally because of the rumors. The rumors were the king fell in love with Concubine Ye Juwa and abandoned the Queen.

The King then send Concubine Ye Juwa to the cold palace, and then he tried to mend his relationship with the Queen.

Princess Ye Lin was the result of the effort to rebuild their marriage. That's why the princess was especially cherished by the King.

Unfortunately, the Queen passed away because of an unidentified disease...

After her mother's death, Concubine Ye Juwa felt pity for the little baby princess. She requested the king to let her raise the princess as her own child. She was brought up with extreme care and love.

As the princess started to grow up into an adult, many suitors came to her to marry her. But, she coldly rejected everyone as none of the men were of her taste.

One day, when the princess went for an outing. She met a handsome guy who was wearing clothes of different culture.

The guy had lost his way. She took pity on him and brought him to her palace. Soon after the princess made that guy her personal escort.

Slowly slowly, love started to bloom between them. The two of them hopelessly falls in love with each other.

The guy then reveals his identity to the princess.

The guy is none other than the newly appointed Crown Prince of Adagio Empire, Bastian De Castedras.

He requests the king to let him marry the princess and bless them.

At first, King Ye Baek Hi refused to let him marry his beloved daughter as he didn't want her to stay so far away from him. But seeing his daughter sad and begging him to marry her lover, he accepted it.

They had their wedding according to the Chinese custom...

...and they set-off for Adagio Empire.

When they arrived at their palace, not everyone accepted the new Crown Princess.

And one of them is the Empress, biological mother of Bastian.

She refused to accept the Chinese princess as her daughter-in-law.

The Emperor was not interested in this types of things. He was just happy that his son got married.

The Crown Prince then begged his mother to accept her as he loves her very much and swears not to marry anyone else other than her.

This made the Empress emotional, and then she announced that if the two of them again get married according to their customs then she'll accept her.

They again got married according to Adagio's custom.

The Emperor gave her the name “Galdys”.
