Although at first he doubted to confirm that his guess he needed assurance which is why he took the liberty to contact doctor, with his last session and the hint he has already realised his feelings.

*put his hands close to his chest, feel his fastening heart-beat, his body's every cell is calling out to him that he likes 'him'*
He can even hear his own heart-beat which kept increasing it's speed as his whole body warmed up, the room which was usually cold, desolate and dark as if it has no life living here looks pleasant to eyes...
He walk outside to balcony and looks at Secretary Yan Leaving in a taxi, he did not take off his eyes until taxi disappear from his sight...
He loves him but he did not have a courage to confess as he knows that 'he' doesn't seem to like him , he even has feeling of distance and reserved but He doesn't seem to realise that it's not that 'he' dislikes him it's just how can someone behave too friendly to his own boss and secretary Yan doesn't seem to want to break the character and OOC that his brother made of himself?
Indeed he has long found that it was not real secretary Yan but he just didn't expose him because he wanted to see what he wanted to do...but he did not find anything wrong
And 'that person' doesn't seem to be doing any harm and he has already been suspicious and letter from real secretary Yan confirm his guess when he received his resignation letter and the person who is going to fill him in
Yes, real secretary Yan means our Linyi is already sold out though he innocent goat doesn't not know that he had fell into his brother's trap
The whole thing is plotted by his dear elder twin brother to keep him busy so that he can enjoy and walk in flowery path...and if possible he hope's that looking at his workholic boss his twin realise the meaning of freedom and bloom his old boat
