They were crouched behind a building

It was night

Infact every day was night

There was no sunlight just, certain hours of the day with artificial light that barely chased away the shadows.

It always looked gloomy and creepy

More reason to go to the surface and see what their world should have been like

To actually feel the heat of the sun and natural light

That would be so awesome

Faya looked over at Jayden and gave him a nod for them to continue going

But a sound came from behind Jayden and Penny appeared

Penny

Faya

Penny what are you doing here?!

Penny was all geared up for a trip. Looking like she was going to some winter sport

Faya looked at Jayden knowing she didn't tell Penny what they were going to do

Jayden

I couldn't help it. She prised it out of me

Penny

I just knew something was up and I wasn't going to be left behind

Penny

How could you not tell me?

Penny

I can't survive one day without you guys here

Penny was okay but she took everything as a joke and she had phobias

Faya

But you hate everything

Penny hated grass, sand, trees, anything with texture. She was afraid of all living things except humans

Penny

I don't hate you guys

Penny

Penny winked. It'll work out.

Penny

I have my trusty gloves

She held up her hands, wiggling her fingers, showing black gloves
