Mr Arrogant V Fanfic
*"This is all your fault, blockhead," *I hissed at him angrily with gritted
teeth.
Both my arms were raised up high, not exactly because I've lost my
mind, although that probably could be the case if I had totally run out of
patience. The Math teacher made both the fool and I stand right outside
of the classroom as a punishment for picking a fight during her class.
"*Shut up . It wasn't my fault anyway , you punched me in the eye first," *He
defended himself.
I let out a deep sigh, "How many time have I told you ,it was accidental!"
"How do you accidentally punch someone in the eye?!"
My arms were giving up on me. I probably already had them raised up
for fifteen minutes or so. Two teachers had already walked past us,
throwing glares in our direction as they walked down the corridor but
my arms is hurting way too much for me to even bother getting
embarrased. But no matter how much my arms were hurting, I dare not
put them down because the Math teacher was not one to be messed
with, no one dared to go against her, probably except Taehyung.
She said that if she catches our arms down she'd send us to clean the
restrooms, which I hated so much because the school restrooms were
really filthy, I barely got the guts to scrab off a dirt.
Minutes past and the muscles in my arms were getting really tensed.
They began to get lower, and lower until i finally dropped them both on
my sides, letting out a loud groan.
But a second later, I felt a hand encircle my wrist, raising my arm up.
"I don't wish to get punished any further because of you, so you better
*have your arms raised," *Taehyung spoke stiffly, keeping his eyes focused
straight in front.
I frowned, clicking out of annoyance at the fact that it was already the
third time this week that I was made to stand outside of the class with
him.
Lee Hyejin's my name, and it was my second year in this hell hole or as
you may call it, high school. Things were definitely going well in my first
year. I was undoubtedly one of the smartest kids in school, one who was
always scoring good grades in examinations. Not much of a social
butterfly, but still had friends to speak to on a daily basis. And once, I
was the class president because the teacher felt like i was a huge role
model for my peers although I myself, had my laziest days.
I thought my life was planned well - I'll get good grades, graduate, then
get my self a well-paying job and live in a great state of comfort and
luxury for the rest of my life.
Little did i know my second year would be horrendous. After being
shifted to a new class the following year, the enviroment changed, and
the people around me changed. And I met him. Taehyung. Kim
Taehyung.
I never bothered about the pranksters that existed in school.
Unfortunately for me, I just had to meet this particular school hooligan,
by chance. I had no idea how we started despising each other, we just
did. We were complete opposites. At the start, he played light pranks,
which I chose to ignore and merely took it as a friendly gesture. But as
time goes by, he seemed to take it as a challenge to make me blow my
top. He probably wondered why I was the only one who barely had any
reactions to his practical jokes when I honestly didn't bother about
anyone exisiting in school.
Taehyung did manage to have me lose my patience at some point in
time. The teachers wouldn't really bother whenever I complained, so I
had it my way. I stupidly began to return his pranks, spent way to much
time on planning out my next sabotage more than studying. To me, it
was a huge satisfaction to watch him fall out of his chair and have the
entire class laugh at him, or to notice him struggling with the pages of
his textbook that were glued together.
We thought, and we fought. Our squabbles made up most of our daily
conversations. It was almost as if the fights we had unknowingly
formed a friendship. Though, we still coudn't resist a day to throw
crumpled papers at each other's head whenever we had the chance to.
But then, there was a gradual drop in my grades. I no longer cared, not
very sure if it was because of Taehyung or because I was going through a
phase where I was really exhausted of anything and everything. I still
tried to pull myself together, but most times I was busy getting into
trouble.
As much as my parents were dissapointed, they were to caught up
with their works to be too concerned with my well-being. I'd rather not
complain because I had some freedom to myself, but other times I felt
very neglected as the only child. But it didn't really matter because I
could always rely on my grandmother for comfort every now and then,
though she lives far from home.
Adding on to the long list of Taehyung's pranks, being at home didn't
stop him from being a nuisance. He'd often send endless message's,
spamming my inbox with meaningless texts and I always had to turn my
phone off to study at night.
It's been only a few months, but it was already getting really difficult to
withstand his caprices.
The bell to the fifth period of the day finally rang. The classroom
doorknob clicked an we immediately straightened our arms high up.
Mrs Jung stomped from behind and stopped right before us, lowering
her glasses down her nose bridge as she stared at the both of us.
"This is my final warning for the both of you," she spoke sternly, brows
knitted as she frowned.
After she made a turn and left, I immediately put my arms down in relief
and rolled my shoulders to ease the tensed muscles. Thank goodness, I
didn't have to wash the restroom this time.
*"You heard her, it's her final warning," *I muttered, not very sure
that he wouldn't get me into trouble next time. He merely scoffed,
quirking an eyebrow.
Ignoring his cockiness, I turned on the ball on my feet to enter the
classroom. Just then, Taehyung shoved me to the side with his elbow,
pushing his way through before me.
I was definitely wrong for thinking he wouldn't cause me trouble for
once.
