ML and FL are friends..FL hates MC because she's more successful and beautiful than her so she made a bet with ML to make her fall for him. ML being playboy agreed to it and he was successful too. Both MC and ML started dating. At first ML was just playing with her but he soon started falling for her but when FL knew about ML's feelings she plotted against MC. She intentionally brought up the topic of bet with ML and how he was successful in his bet so he can leave her now. ML didn't realize but MC heard all this. She was heart broken and ran away without asking him and met with an accident and died. ML came to knew about her death, he was devastated. He didn't knew it was all planned , he thought it to be just an accident. FL comforted him in this time and after some years they got married and lived happily.
