A Strange Woman

Long long ago, there was a man that lived in the abandoned house, he hunted. What he hunted was not animals in the wilderness, but humans-the young children, new borns. This caused the rise of terror back then, said the grandma nervously trembling.

A loud sound from the kitchen and grandma suddenly jolted from a shock and hurried us to sleep. After all of us left for our rooms, grandma sipping her coffee and sighing, a hand all of a sudden appeared on the shoulder patting, it was my grandpa.

I had no idea what of kind nostalgia or terror this anecdote that was jabbered during a family dinner hit them. I dozed off while thinking about the events that during the day.

I woke up after being chased by some shadow in the woods in my dream. I was a little terrified but I managed to get a hold of it. My head was killing so, I went downstairs to get my coffee. I greeted my grandparents with a smile and the distorted memory of my dream. I took coffee mug and made my way to the verandah. I stood there while cold breeze grazed my skin and I took a sip of my coffee while tussling my hair. I almost finished my coffee and was about to go inside but something caught my attention.

I suddenly looked at entrance, there was a strange woman pacing back and forth as if hesitating on the snow filled row. As if someone was calling for me, I started to walk and suddenly ran to the entrance despite Alexey's calling for me. I went there and opened the door only to find no one.

All of a sudden, I had chills running down my spine. Then, I started observing the lonely road while Alexy suddenly tapped on my shoulder from behind which made me climb a tree. He asked what's wrong with me and why I was running around in the snow barefooted.

I wanted tonanswer his queries but not a word comes out of my mouth. It's even more strange that I don't remember anything like why I was there and what I was searching for, I was muddled. Alex gave me a piggy back preventing me from having frost bites.

Grandma hurriedly came to my room with heat packs and a glass of cacao. She enquired me about what happened and after listening to me, she was dumbstruck. She mumbled something to herself, I couldn't hear. She said it was nothing and asked me to rest assured and left my room.

I found myself asleep after she left the room.I woke up next morning, making a scene...
