"Mom, what do you want me to ..I'm even tired of your everyday complain about me. Hmm I don't care about any fu**cking CEO of whatever company. Is good he had realized it earlier". He said and walked out.

"What! Chris?". Her eyes dilated instantly and it was like she was going mad that instant.

"What did I just hear my one son saying. Did he just say that he doesn't care about being anything. whether you like it or not I will deprive it on you". She said and picked up her phone.

"Hello, good day. Please block Chris's bank card from taking any money from the company . Just for the time being ". She hangs up the call.

"If you think you were wise, then I will show you I was born before you". She mumbled and hack back in the davenport.

"Ma!". The maid came, running to her.

" Ma, ma!". She smudged her on the back but however, she was not awakening.

" Young master, Chris.. please come hastily your mother has fainted". The maid screamed and Chris came out of nowhere and scrambled to her.

" What did you do to my mother?". He shrieked at the maid.

" I swear on my life, I haven't done anything to her. I was just at my place working when I saw her fell into the sofa, I swear I haven't done anything to her". She petitioned.

" Then pray that nothing happens to her or else I will skill you alive!". He jeopardized her and carried her mother to the hospital.

The next day, Maya was still hibernating peacefully when Steve thumped on the portico. She sprung up quickly.

" Yeah, I'm coming". She whispered to herself and rapidly unlocked the door.

" Did I woke you up?". Steve inquired and he swing her head.

" Are you sure?". He inquired again and she nodded her head.

" Okay, I'm only coming to get ready for school that's all". He said and infiltrated. Maya looked at him quietly then went out.

" Hey, where did she go to? Haha.. naive but I think she knows her way well.. okay let's get ready for school". He mumbled and went to her bathroom.

Maya walked through the inhabiting room quietly when someone emitted behind her back, scaring her from behind.

" Who are you?". Steve's father spoke and Maya turned her head quickly and gasped.

" Why are you scared young lady?". He inquired and strolled a little closer to her.

" Why are you not talking!". He asked her again.

" Sorry, honey she can't talk. And she is the lady I told you about yesterday night". Aunt Maggie came to her aid.

"Ooh, okay". He nodded his head while scanning Maya from head to toe. Maya was feeling uncomfortable about how he was watching her.

"Why is he watching me, Soo, lustfully?". She asked herself and rolled her eyes then sauntered to them.

"Yeah, he is my husband..". Aunt Maggie introduce her to him and she nodded her head.

"Honey I will get going". Mr. Machel said and winked at Maya without Aunt Maggie glimpsing him.

"Hey, this man is weird. Why is he winking at another woman when his wife is right in front of him?". Maya asked herself and eyed him instead then Mr. Machel frowned and went away.

"See you in the afternoon honey". Aunt Maggie said and closed the door.

"Come here, let go". Aunt Maggie drew her closer to herself and then walked away with her.

"Doctor, please how is my mom doing". Chris hurried to confront the doctor when he came out of where her mother was admitted to.

"She is alright, it was just a depression she had. Please take good care of her and don't pressure her too much. Especially don't do what will make her cry or her heart will beat faster ". The doctor said and headed away.

"Mm..I'm sorry mom..I promise to do as you say". Chris heard himself saying.

", Hey, how is your mother doing?". His father came in.

"She is not fine! You heard that your wife wasn't well and you kept on doing your fu**cking job which can't save a life". Chris screeched at his father.

"Are you mad? Why are you talking to me like that?". Mr. Mike said and got irritated that instant.

"If you don't apologize right now you will see what I will do to you... idiot, who the hell do you think you are..hmm .I gave birth to you so keep quiet ". Mr. Mike shouted at him and he kept quiet with his teary eyes.

"So, you know how to cry ". Chris heard a voice from within.

"Mother!". He yelled and run to her.

"I'm sorry mom, I shouldn't have effected too much trouble for you. Please I will do anything you instruct me to do just name it but please don't fall sick again ". He said bending his head.

" I know my son is always a humble one. But why did you change soo suddenly? Promise me you won't ever change again ". His mother announced.

" I swear on my life mom". Chris promised and hugged her mother furthermore.

" Okay, now stop crying, and let's go home ". She said and winked at her husband. All that was an act she was feigning to get Chris.

He told her husband that she will confirm till Chris change within the year before he gives his company out. And it shall be for Chris and no other person.

Mr. Mike was still not supportive of what his wife was doing for anticipated that his son will never change. In his mind, he will still give the company out. no matter what, if Chris didn't change during all the years he had offered to his wife. Mr. Mike never knew that his wife was putting in all her best to just get what belongs to them in a safer hands.
