It's Complicated
After I lost my mother, my dad became ignorant to me and became a heavy drinker. He came home late every night and sometimes abused me both physically and verbally. I lost my interest in life and tried to attempt suicide a few times.
I started smoking and doing all those bad things I never ever imagined doing. But then Leah came into my life like an angel(is it getting too cringy?) She got to know about my family and situation when I was blabbering to her about being all drunk.
From that very moment I felt her being affectionate to me. She used to be very scared of me, so the sudden changes in her behavior made me confused as well as happy somehow. I tried to act all tough and cold towards her, sometimes I tried to ignore her too. But she didn't mind and was the only one who talked to me so affectionately and took care of me except my bishes until I got comfortable with her and started talking and sharing things.
Eventually we became friends, close ones. She became so close and important to me that she somehow managed to convince me to stop smoking and drinking.
My friends were not quite satisfied with it at first but eventually agreed because of how Leah impressed them as well with her angelic behavior. And now we all are enjoying our college life to the fullest, not caring about anyone. All because of Leah…
Yn went to her class and found Leah sitting peacefully while reading a book. As soon as she saw Yn, she ran towards her.

"Ynie, are you alright? Did Mina hurt you anywhere? Why did you even fight with her? I found out when everyone was talking about you guys after I came back from the library."
She huffed after talking nonstop.

"Calm down, Leah! I'm fine." *smile*
Kang Leah (bestie)
"Why did you fight with her again?" *frown*
Jeon Y/N
"Because she hurt you… and none can hurt my friend!!! No no no.. I don't approve of this."
I shook my head and she giggled
Jeon Y/N
"I taught her a proper lesson this time. Still if she tries to disturb you or something, you'll tell me, ``got it?"
I said with a stern voice.
She hummed while smiling widely.
Who knew, her heart was fluttering? None has ever done something like that for her? She had been bullied many times in the past because of being a nerd.
But for the first time, she's feeling this much special, important. She never thought Yn would be this protective over her. Her and Yn's bond can't be described with simple words and that's how special it is!

"But Yniiee.. I don't want to bother him. He doesn't like me.. he clearly has shown no interest in me…" *sigh*

"I know this cold dude doesn't talk much but he indeed likes your attention. How you always greet him, give him gifts and cook for him sometimes. He must be weak at expressing, that's it!"

"But……."

"No buts now... Let's go!!!!"
I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the locker section.
