Chapter 12: I'll die without you!

After they reached the mansion, Snowball got along with Dan quickly. Daisy was relieved seeing them getting along well. Xavier took her to their room. She went to the bathroom to take shower.

"Don't let your hand get wet", Xavier said before she went inside. "Bad wolf", she called out from inside. Xavier just removed his shirt but stopped after hearing her and immediately rushed inside and saw her sitting on the ottoman in the bathroom.

He squatted down and held her arm with one hand while the other hand held her face. "What's wrong, Babygirl? Did you get hurt? Do you want me to call the doctor?", he asked worriedly. She shook her head.

"I can't remove my clothes", she said to him. He sighed and said, "I'll help you. Come." She nodded and stood up. He carefully removed her clothes and then turned to leave but she held his hand. He turned to her.

"Can you help me bath? I might wet my hand", she looked at him like a little kitten. He chuckled and patted her cheek. "Come", he said and took her to the bathtub. He filled the tub with lukewarm water then helped her get inside.

The water had pink bubbles just like she always takes her bath. "Keep your right hand on my shoulder", he said as he squatted down. She nodded and kept her right hand on his shoulder avoiding water.

"Bad wolf, I bite you here", she said rubbing her small index finger on his chest where she bite him. The spot had her teeth marks and was red. "Kiss there if you're feeling guilty. It will be okay then", he said and rubbed her right upper arm carefully.

She kissed on the mark and looked at his face that had a smile. Looking at his smile, she smiled as well. Her smile was really cute making her eyes almost close. She took the body wash and applied some on his nose.

She giggled looking at him. She took the bubble water and splashed on his face. He glared at her or you can say tried as he ended up chuckling. "Babygirl, you'll wet your hand", he said pinched her small nose making her giggle.

"Bad wolf, you're so cute", she said and pinched his cheek. "You're more cute, my little doll", he said and patted her right cheek lightly. "Am I a doll?", she asked like a small child. He nodded. "My doll. Babydoll", he said and rubbed his nose against hers.

She giggled and blushed. He bathed her gently without doing anything else. Even though he wanted to do more than just bathe, he controlled himself as he knew she was injured and he might hurt her more unintentionally.

He took a towel and wiped her body gently then helped her wear the bathrobe. "I'll help you wear your clothes after I take shower, okay", he said and kissed on her forehead. She nodded and walked out of the bathroom.

Xavier showered and then put on his sweatpants. He helped her dry her hairs. "I sleep without clothes. It's comfortable", she said to him. "It won't be comfortable for me, Babygirl. You hug me like a teddy while you sleep. I won't be able to control myself", he said making her blush.

She decided to chose a pink oversized hoodie. Xavier helped her put on her hoodie. She didn't t wear a bra inside as it makes her feel uncomfortable while sleeping. She put on the cap of the hoodie that had ears. Xavier chuckled looking at her. She looked like a small rabbit.

They went downstairs to have dinner. He made her sit on his laps as he feed her dinner as she couldn't eat by herself. He was taking care of her very well. He ordered all the servants to leave them alone so that she won't be uncomfortable.

He laid on the bed while she jumped on him like a child and laid on top of his ***** chest hugging him like a bear. Her arms and legs were wrapped all around him. His one arm wrapped around her waist while the other hand patted her head lightly.

"Good night, bad wolf", she said and pecked on his lips. "Good night, Babygirl", he smiled.

Soon, she drifted off to sleep. He looked at her sleeping self. She was like a small child who craved for care and love. He felt a sting in his chest while thinking about her past. He was angry at the thought of her being bullied by her stepmother and stepsister while her father was blind to not see anything.

He kissed on the top of her head and continued to pat her head slowly. "I promise you I'll never let a tear come out of your eyes. I'll make each person pay for what they did to you, my Babygirl", he promised her.

She started rubbing her face on his chest making him chuckle. "My little wifey, were you a kitten in your last life?", he asked looking at her cute face. She was fast asleep. He sighed and covered themselves upto the chest with the blanket then he too fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, she started mumbling things and cried. Xavier woke up hearing her. "It's okay, Babygirl. I'm here. Go to sleep. I'll protect you", he patted her head lightly. "Momma, they beat me.... bad wolf will hate me", she cried.

"No one will beat you. I will kill everyone who will dare to touch you. I will never hate you, Babygirl. I just love you. I'm here, only for you. I love you, babygirl", he kissed on her head and rubbed her back slowly. Slowly, she calmed down and fell asleep.

He felt his heart shatter looking at her like that. He gently wiped her tears and hugged her tightly. "I will always protect you and never let you get hurt", he said and kissed her head.

In the morning, Daisy whined in sleep. "Bad wolf, my hand hurts", she frowned. Xavier opened his eyes because of her whining and saw her hand under her head, pressed between his chest and her head. He sighed helplessly and removed her hand.

"It won't hurt now. Go to sleep. You don't need to go to university for now", he said and kissed on her right hand then kept it on his shoulder. She nodded subconsciously in sleep. He patted her head slowly with one hand and took his mobile in other hand.

He sent a message to Jeremy and asked him to get some days leave for Daisy saying she's sick. Since the university was under him, it wasn't difficult for him. His father was the trustee of the university so now it was under his control.

He started checking his emails on the mobile while kept patting her head slowly. Suddenly, her mobile buzzed. He took her mobile in his hand and saw a text from her friend, Brent. Why is he texting my Babygirl so early? He thought as jealousy rose inside him.

He opened the text and read it. It simply said Hope you're fine from tomorrow's thing. How's your back? Xavier frowned. What happened to her back? He thought worriedly. Last night, he didn't see her back properly so he doesn't know what's wrong.

His hand moved down her head and caressed her back and suddenly she yelped when he touched her lower back at the left. He frowned. She turned her face and held his hand that was on her back.

"It hurts, bad wolf", she said in a sleepy tone. "What happened to you? How did you get hurt?", he asked gently and moved his hand up continuing to pat her head. "Nina, pushed me on the staircase. I hit something there", she said subconsciously.

"Why did she push you, Babygirl?", he asked and stroked her hairs. "Because she was punished by the professor because of me. She was hitting my friend with papers and I got her punished also she saw you with me when you dropped me yesterday", she said in a whinny tone.

"Bad wolf", she called out. "Hmm", he replied gently. "Why does everyone hate me? Am I that bad? Even when you're with me, I was hurt. Can't I be happy?", she questioned as a tear escaped her eye. He wiped her tears.

"You deserve all the happiness in this world, Babygirl. People don't hate you but are jealous of you because they can't be like you. You should be happy, Babygirl", he said very gently and kissed on her head.

"I love you, bad wolf", she murmured. "I love you too, Babygirl", he whispered. She immediately feel into deep sleep as she rubbed her nose on his chest. "My little kitten, you're so cute", he said and caressed her soft cheek. The whole night he has to sleep on his back for her so she could be comfortable on top of him yet he never complained.

"I guess I won't be able to stay without you anymore. I can't lose you. I'll keep you away from all the cruel eyes. You'll be always under my protection, under my shelter. Safe and happy without any worries. I'll spoil you like no one did. I'll love you a lot but don't speak of leaving me like last night. I'll die without you", he murmured and hugged her.
