Chapter 7: Meeting his family.

Daisy's POV:

"Where are we going?", I asked curiously to Xavier who didn't answer me but kept on smiling while driving silently. Ugh! What's with this all secrecy? He asked his driver to go home as he decided to drive himself.

Suddenly, the came to halt. I looked around to find the biggest jewellery shop. I turned to Xavier who just smiled then got off and came to my side to open the door for me like a gentleman.

We walked inside the shop hand in hand. "Babygirl, you said I didn't give you a ring so let's go and buy rings for us", he smiled. All the staffs in the shop liked up to welcome us and bowed to us.

"Get us the best ring set", Xavier ordered. A lady greeted us and showed us a ring set. "This is the latest ring set. I hope you like it, Mr Knight", the lady said and kept giving Xavier flirtatious looks.

I frowned. "Get us another person to attend", I said in an angry tone. Xavier smirked hearing me complain. Soon, a new lady came to attend us. She was more professional and kept it to her work.

"Do you like it, Babygirl?", Xavier asked. I nodded with sparkly eyes. "Bad wolf, I love the rings. You're the best", I said and hugged him tightly giving him a kiss on his cheek.

"Imprint our names on the rings", I said as I looked at the rings with admiration. It was beautiful platinum ring set with a half heart shaped design on both the rings. When you join the rings it completes the heart. Our names were inside.

I wore the ring to Xavier and hugged him. He too wore the ring to me and kissed my hand. I smiled looking at the ring. "Babygirl, happy?", he asked. "Very happy, bad wolf", I said pecked on his lips.

We got into our car once again. "We have to go to my family house. My mom wants to see you", Xavier said. I nodded. "We should get something for auntie and others", I said thinking about what to get.

"No need. Mom will be delighted to just see you", he said and drove to his family mansion. As we entered the mansion all the servants and the butler bowed and welcomed us.

A lady in her forties came forward and held me into a bone crushing hug. I hugged her back. "Oh my, she's so pretty. How did you fall for this stone man?", she asked looking at Xavier who gave a aloof look. I giggled.

"Auntie, I'm sorry I couldn't get anything for you. Xavier didn't let me buy anything", I said politely. "Come on, sweetie. No need for the formalities. And what's with the auntie? Call me mom", she smiled warmly.

"M-Mom", I called out slowly as tears welled into my eyes. "What happened, honey? Why are you crying? Did I say something? Or this stone of my son did something?", she asked worriedly. I chuckled between sobs.

I shooked my head. "My mom died when I was 12 since then no one treated me like you did", I said honestly. She hugged me and caressed my back. "I'm your mom from now on. If Xavier does anything just tell me. Even if this stoneheaded person makes youstruggle I'll punish him", she said. I nodded.

"Babygirl?", Xavier frowned. "You don't dare to speak or I'll cut your tongue", his mom said and pulled his ears. "Mom, he didn't do anything. Let go", I said as I saw him frowning. I caressed his ear.

"Does it hurt?", I asked in a low tone. He nodded like a small kid. "Woah! Bro, is that really you? Acting all kiddo. Seriously? Am I dreaming?", came a voice. I turned to see a guy in his early twenties. He was a bit identical to Xavier's mom.

"Is this really my son whom I raised?", his mom asked in a shocked tone. I tried to pull my hand back but Xavier held my hand and kissed my fingers. I blushed at his simple action.

"Is she my sis in law?", the guy asked and came towards me. "Hi, I'm Nick. The second son of Knight family. I'm 25, by the way", Nick said with a smile. I smiled back.

We settled on the sofa in the living room. Nick sat beside me. Suddenly, he poked my cheek. I stared at him in confusion. "Bro, she's so soft like a cotton candy. Can I eat her?", Nick asked. I widened my eyes.

We all chatted for a while then suddenly a voice came. A boy came in with a scowl on his face. He had those deep blue eyes like his mom and brown hairs like the father. He was probably elder than me.

"That's Aden, the youngest of all of us. He's 21 now", Xavier said. I looked at the boy who came towards us. "Who's she?", he asked. "Give respect to her. She's your sister in law", Xavier's dad said.

His scowl vanished a bit. "Oh, so you're the girl my brother married", he said in a plain tone. "What's with that tone?", his mom scolded. "She's hot, mom", Aden smirked. Xavier glared at him.

"Bro, chill. She's already married to you so I can do nothing", Aden commented with a sad tone. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. If he keeps going like that Xavier will make me stop even from looking at guys.

"Let them fight. You come with me, sweetie", his mom said and I was so thankful to her. She took her to her room and we talked about so many things. She told me about what Xavier likes and dislikes.

She even showed me his childhood pictures. He had a expressionless face in every pic after the pictures of his 5th year. His mom said that after he started training to become the next successor he become cold.

We had dinner at their home and then went back home. I took a shower after Xavier and came out wearing my pjs which were a light blue shirt with cherry prints and shorts with same design and my blue bunny slippers.

I saw Xavier working on his laptop as he sat on the bed against the headboard like some King. He looked hot without shirt and only in his sweatpants that hung low on his waist. He looked hell sexy with those abs of him.

"Like what you see, Babygirl?", his voice was husky. I turned around in embarrassment as my face turned all red. I heard him chuckle that just added to my embarrassment. I just wanted to hide myself right now.

"You don't have to be embarrassed, babygirl. I'm all yours", he teased me. I ran to the bed and hide myself inside the comforter. He chuckled at my behavior. I heard the closing of the laptop.
