CHAPTER 14

    She feels nervous, wanting to talk to her mom badly but she can not get the courage to start a conversation, will she understand her? Will she accept her situation? Will she forgive her? Those are some of the questions that bother her. She is already walking there for more than an hour but is still afraid to talk.

    Her mom is very busy reading a novel in the Mangatoon app entitled UNVEIL THE SACRIFICES OF MOTHER WRITTEN BY ZENJIE.

    She could feel her mom is aware of what she is doing but only observing.

    "Are you okay? you look bothered, " ask Brenda and close her phone.

    "I am okay mom, just exercising," she answered quickly.

    "Why don't you go out and walk on the shore?" she advises.

    "It is okay mom, I'm fine here, don't worry I will go tomorrow it is already cold outside," she reasons out.

    "Okay, if you don't want to go for a walk I will go then." She stands up and gets her slipper then gets out.

    Jaz frustratedly blows air and sits down, still stressed about how she could tell that to her mother. After a while, she stands up and makes milk to calm herself.

    It is cold outside, she covers her shoulder with the shawl and continues to walk until she sees the lights on the mini-park. The different color-switching together attracts her attention to go near.

    "Hi!, you are really sexy and beautiful, do you want to join me in my room tonight? alone is a bit sad," the tall and good-looking guy said to the lady wearing a pink tank top, she could not see her face because she was covered with the leaves of the fake tree decoration.

    "Sure, I am free tonight, "she smiled alluringly.

    It is already late at night and only a few outsides, some lovers sharing their affection for each other, she feels envy and wishes that her daughter will find a lovely and caring boyfriend.

    She is her one and only princess and she doesn't want to see her broken heart. She stands up and starts to walk towards her cottage when she sees a lady sneaking out in room 58, she is holding her sleeper then puts it on when she is already five-step away from the door.

    Brenda turn right and throw the can of cola in the garbage but almost drop her mouth when the face of the lady become clear, she hides with her heart beating too fast when the lady passed she run without looking side by side then he bumps with the hard thing, she apologizes when the guy from the room 58 start} to speak.

    "It is okay ma'am I was not hurt," he assured her.

    "I just wanna ask if you see a beautiful lady with a pink tank top, I forgot to ask her name..."

    "Your girlfriend?" she asked, pretending.

    "No ma'am... I just met her tonight but we had a great time together. I really regret that I forgot to ask her name or her number. I am showering when she gets out."

    "I see."

    "Do you happen to see any lady with a pink top this night ma'am?" he asks hopingly.

    "I don't know but maybe her name is Rose, excuse me but I need to go," she said.

    She is still shocked, she walks fast and goes directly to the kitchen to make coffee, maybe in other cases she won't give a damn if Rose will date any man but this is different, her boyfriend is kind and lovable not to mention he loves to adore her so much.

    Will she tell Zandro what she just witnessed? Will he believe her? Is it right to mingle? Stress eating her.

    She finishes her coffee, washes the mug, and goes inside the bathroom to take shower.

    After drying her hair, she gets in the bed beside Jaz and kisses her in the head, her baby is looking peacefully asleep but there are still traces of tiredness on her face, she embraces her and lays down to sleep.

    It is already 3 am but the guy in room 58 is still awake, imagining what just happen, he looks his self again in the mirror and his body reacts looking at those hickeys between his legs and his upper body, indeed she is really awesome, he was sent there many times for mind-blowing climax.

    He punches his head in desperation, he regrets showering. He wanted her the whole night but she escaped.

    Those hot lips still in his skin burning him with desire, frustrated with his feeling he decided to take a very cold shower.

    He waited two hours more and called the mechanic if his car was already fixed.

    The mechanic said it is okay so he goes to the reception to check it out. His car is already at the gate, they talk a little, pay him then leave the place.

    It is already 11 when Jaz wakes up, the smell of the food makes her stomach growl. She stands up and washes her face then follows the smell of the food.

    "Good morning my baby!" her mom greeted her happily.

    "Morning too mom, how is your sleep? What time did you go home last night?" she asks.

    "It is already past 2, I enjoy watching outside and I forgot the time, " she answered.

    "So did you sleep well? I think you must start to exercise more, you are getting fat," her mom looks at her with disgust.

    She is choking and coughing a lot, her mom gets water and asks her worriedly.

    She said she was okay and continued her food. That was close; she almost had a heart attack.

    "Anyway the owner of this resort invited us to eat lunch with his father and I already agreed, prepare yourself at 2 pm okay?"

    "Okay mom I will come" she collected the plates, spoon, fork, and glass and put them in the sink. She washes it then returns to the room.

    Puzzled by her daughter she asks again if she is okay but as usual, she just said, I'm okay. ..It is weird she is gaining weight and her chest is getting bigger too.

    "Jaz! be ready we will go after 30 minutes!" Brenda shouted.

    "I finished mom! I am coming." She closes the door and gets out, her mom is already outside .....excitement all over her face.

    She just wears jeans and a fitted shirt, they enter the restaurant, and her mom waves to the old guy. He is not alone but since the guy is on the other side she can only see his back.

    "Hi, Zandro! at long last, I can introduce my lovely baby to your son," her mom smiling widely.

    "Mom, you are exaggerating," she whispers and sits with the vacant chair beside the guy.

    "Mark....meet my one and only daughter, single, never had a boyfriend since birth and you know " she winks at him and Zandro laughs.

    Mark stands up to see her good and extend his hand but their faces both become pale with shock. Mark's face has a different emotion until his face slowly brightens up. While Jaz looks like she has seen a ghost, her face becomes paler.

    "H! I am Mark", he said and extended his hand.

    "Hmm hi..... Jaz" she said weakly.

    The two oldies just observe their reaction, they sense something and they are thrilled about it.

    Her reaction is different, which makes them worry a little, it seems she doesn't like him at all. They excuse and pretend to get the food so they can talk privately.

    Mark holds her hand when the oldies have gone but she pulls it off. He raises his hand as a sign of surrender.

    "Believe it or not, I am so happy to see you here, for more than three months I did not stop thinking of that night. I always miss you. If you did not run that day maybe I had a chance to get your number, I lost you once, I won't let you get away again this time." he said sincerely and directly that shocked her... That was fast.

    "Stop! I don't know you, what happened that night is just the effect of alcohol, please don't show any hint that you know me if you want that I won't hate you," she said with determination to hide what happened.

    "What? Then let me know you starting now, just give me a chance and I will show you that I really mean it," he whispers, convincing her to believe. But she just keeps quiet until he stops talking.

    "Zandro, why do I have this feeling that they know each other? look at Mark, he seems to be asking for a chance while my daughter is a bit angry," she burst out her curiosity.

    "We have the same in mind, is it like a lover's quarrel?"

    They see each other and laugh without sound then slowly they leave the place so the two can talk. What naughty oldies they are!

    "Jaz, give me time to court you I promise you won't regret it, I will love you with all my heart," he begs.

Her tears fall down, she wants to tell him the truth about her problem but she is afraid that he might ask her to marry him, she is not yet ready for commitment, having a baby is enough for her this time.

    "Hey don't cry I am here for you" he embraces her and she cries like a baby. He kisses her head and assures her everything will be alright.

    "Food is ready!" Brenda shouted to separate them. Zandro is grinning happily at what he saw.

    "Jaz? Did you cry?`` She is worried and touches her head.

    "I am sorry mom, I just twisted my ankle and Mark helped me, it is very painful that I cried." She acted like she was hurting.

    Mark giggled but stopped when he saw the puzzled look of the oldies.

    "Do you need to go to the clinic? it is very near here".. Zandro said, worried. But she declines the offer and starts to eat as if she is very hungry.

    "Jaz....(whispering) hmm you are embarrassing me, eat slowly there is a lot of food here." His mom's face is apologetic and red.

    "Don't worry ma'am it is okay for us", Mark said laughing inside, maybe she is doing that to turn them off but he doesn't care what she does, he found her and he won't let her vanish again.

    Now that he saw her he could get her number and address to visit her with the help of her mother. He smiles and eats his food.
