The Apocalypse: Chapter 5 "Hole In The Heart"

I couldn't believe I was looking at the lifeless body of my friend. I lost a friend and a brother. I felt so angry and at the same time sad so I grabbed my weapon and went rage to kill as many zombies as I can. I got no combat experience but I couldn't control myself as I wanted to beat the hell out of the zombies. I kicked, pushed and smashed the zombies around us but suddenly another person dropped.

"Ahhh!!!" Joseph yelled.

My other childhood friend went down. It hurts my heart losing two brothers in the same day. I got angrier after seeing him fall. He was suddenly swarmed with a whole lot of zombies.

"Joshua...run leave us here..Have a happy life" Joseph yelled at me with his remaining energy.

"No!!! You're coming with us!" I replied with anger.

I couldn't bear to leave him behind. I didn't want to lose anyone. I quick ran towards him with my weapon.

As I ran towards him to free him from the swarm of zombies trying to eating him.. Josaiah and Sherwin pulled me away. They were dragging me to the delivery area where we could escape. As there were dragging me I looked at Jamester and Joseph. I swore to myself to avenge them. We escaped from the mall and we were lucky enough to do so but we lost two. We lost two and those two were like family to me. Now I'm stuck with strangers.

"Joseph and Jamester..I promise I'll not let you die in vain..I will avenge you guys!" I said to myself...

As we were running away from the mall somebody patted my shoulder. It was Josaiah who patted me.

"You might have lost two precious people in your life today but don't lose hope. Me and and everyone here will help you avenge them. We are now all we got." Josaiah told me.

As I looked at everyone they were all looking at me with a smile.

"I guess I'm lucky enough to be left with good people huh.. Starting this day forward we are now family!" I yelled with a smile

"Hurah!" Everyone replied.

We ran away from the mall then a few minutes later we encountered a huge group of zombies. We prepared ourselves as that might have been our last stand. All out of a sudden a Army Jeep with a squad of soldiers came to our rescue. They were evacuating us to their camp. We were told that there was a scientist from Manila was trying to make a booster that can make someone aggressive and stronger. The scientist experimented it on a dog but everything went bad when the dog bit the scientist's assistant. After the assistant got bitten he went crazy and began attacking everyone insight. Everyone he has bitten became like him. That was where it all began. It spread around the Philippines so quick as passengers from boats and planes from manila got bitten by those infected. It caused chaos around the Philippines and even now it is still causing chaos.
