Chapter 5

(The same day).

Adam's apartment, 7:45 pm

Levi was lying on sofa, still unconscious. Adam was by his side trying to wake him up. Elsa peeked at them from behind the cupboard.

Adam sprinkled water over his face.

"LEVI! LEVI!"

"WAKE UP!!"

He patted on his cheeks trying to wake him up.

"Why are you hiding now? Come over here."

Adam turned back to Elsa and said.

Elsa shook her head into a `no´, signs of fear and guilt all over her face.

Levi suddenly opened his eyes and sat up.

"Ow..!! My head hurts!!"

He said, his hands over his head,

Having seen this, Elsa immediately pulled back her head and hid behind,

Adam turned back and said,

"Oh! Levi! You are awake!"

"Adam! Why are you here?"

Levi said, surprised.

"Actually, Levi, the thing is...."

he was saying while Levi interrupted.

"You are alone here, right?"

He looked all around, right and left.

"Thank god!" he said as he saw no one else around.

"Levi!! Listen actually...."

Adam was trying to speak but again Levi interrupted.

"No! Adam! You ought to listen to me first!"

"You won't believe what happened!"

Levi started blabbering.

"Actually I came here first but the main door was locked. So, I opened it with the spare key I had."

"I was searching for my book that I left here, you remember a week ago when I came here?"

He looked at Adam.

Adam nodded his head yes.

"Yes! That one!"

"But then what happened was....."

He continued unless his expression suddenly changed.

"Wait..!! I was a bit tired as far as I remember!"

He seemed to indulge his mind into a great thinking.

"Now, I get it! I might have fallen asleep here!!"

"Of course!! That could only be a dream..!!"

He said, a glimpse of that girl in his mind.

"No.. Levi...."

Adam again tried to speak but Levi interrupted again.

"Pfftt.....you won't believe what dream I had!!!"

Levi smiled and said.

"In my dream too, I was searching for the book..!!"

"But suddenly I started singing that song `Just the way you are by Bruno Mars´!!"

"Then, that...that girl, she joined me to sing!!"

"I too joined in while still searching for my book without turning back!!"

"When I turned back, she was there holding a gulf stick in her hand...!!"

"Before I could say anything further, she hit me hard on my head..!!"

"Right here..!!!

He said putting his hand over the head.

"Ow..!! It feel like its hurting even now..!! Isn't it weird??"

He smiled.

"I fell down to the floor..!!! She dragged me there to that cupboard..!!"

He said pointing forward to the cupboard.

"And locked me inside..!!"

(When Elsa hit Levi, he fainted at first and so fell down to the ground. But since the hit was not that fierce, he regained consciousness soon after, yet he was not in a state to stand up. So, he just laid down. After, he was locked inside the cupboard, he actually fell asleep.)

"Phew..!!! Quite an interesting dream, isn't it Adam..!!??"

He said smiling.

"Levi... actually..!!"

Adam said,

"Yes Adam..!!" Levi replied instantly.

"Actually, all that you mentioned right now was not a dream.. my sister...she did hit you in real."

"I just came back from my work a while ago."

"You were inside there for more than an hour."

Adam said looking down, signs of guilt all over his face.

"Wait..!! That..THAT GIRL IS YOUR SISTER..???"

Levi shouted.

Adam looked back and shouted,

"Elsa... Come out now..!!"

Levi looked straight to the front wide-eyed.

Elsa peeked from behind the cupboard.

Levi's lips curled up into a little smile as he saw her.

Levi and Adam both were staring at her. Then, she knew she had no other option, so she walked to the front.

"H...h..hiiii.."

She said as she gave an awkward smile.

"I will get you a glass of juice Levi."

Adam said as he stood up. He walked past Elsa signaling her to go talk to Levi.

Elsa walked towards Levi slowly in fear, that awkward smile over her face.

Levi just sat there staring at her.

"So, it was you who..."

Levi was saying when Elsa interrupted,

"I am really very very sorry!!"

"Please forgive me..!!"

Elsa bowed down in front of her.

"Pfftt.."

Levi smiled.

"But how could you..!?"

"No, I mean.!! I mean you literally locked me in the cupboard..!!"

"I could have suffocated to death..!!"

He said making up a little angry face.

"But, I didn't hit you that hard..!!"

"I didn't even fully locked the cupboard. The door was wide enough for you to brea....."

She said trying to remember.

"Really..!!" Levi glared at her.

"No, I mean, I did a mistake, I am sorry..!!"

She bowed down again.

Adam came with the glass of juice, put it on the table.

"Levi, Lucy just called me. She said she couldn't reach your phone. She got home an hour ago. She asked when were you coming back."

"I think you should go now. It's already 8:00 pm "

Adam said.

"8 already!!! I should be going then..!!"

He drank the juice in a gulp.

"He stood up abruptly and ran towards the main door. He then turned back at Elsa, smirked and left.
