Prologue

Esrozia was a bustling city, full of many kinds of entertainments, business and agrarian chains. The city was notorious for its rumours and gossip and it was known to be the best place to get informations about everyone and everything.

Many new hearsays circulated in the city, but the most known was the one of a 'doll'; well, to be exact It was the '99th reincarnated doll'.

Usually these kind of rumours were ignored, labelled as fantasies.

What made it special was the craftsman who made the doll. He was ridiculously known, so naturally, there were plenty of stories told about him, but this one was the most trending one.

No one knows if his dolls were actually dolls, but that they were reincarnated? Well that was the most infamous and unrealistic rumour of them all.

The craftsman was named Arcane, but it was known only by few.

Arcane, as the name says, was very mysterious. People even said he was a sorcerer of some sort.

He has made lots of dolls, and every single one of them is rare. Only a very few people in the world possesses them.

It was said that those reincarnated dolls, had an human soul inside of them.

The soul of a repented criminal.

Arcane gave them a chance to live again, but there is something they have to achieve. Not even one doll out of 98 was able to accomplish it, and now it's the time of the 99th doll, otherwise known as the last doll.

There was an auction being held, where this doll would have been sold only to the richest of the richest.

"Oh, is that so?" The man exclaims.

"Then I'm interested. I'm going to buy it" He states, after listening to the information's his assistant was able to report to him.

"It will be a perfect gift for my little sister's birthday" he murmured while smirking.

With that, he took his coat and stepped into the car. "Drive to the Rosaria auction house" he ordered the driver.

The man was looking out of the window and grinning as he thought: 'it seems like it will rain today...'

The Rosario auction house was the most known auction house of the whole country, it had been around for years and the richest families are connected with it.

This auction house was really mysterious and they also sold esteemed objects that only the richest are able to buy.
