the beginning

It was a small Victorian styled house that looks like a haunted house. A beautiful woman with long blond hair was standing at the frontage holding a baby on her ample bosom.

heading out I realized that I am too attached to this place, this is all that I have known since my marriage with peter, looking back it sure brings back lots of fond memories.

this is one of the reason why I want us to move from this place, it's just too creepy for my own liking.

opening the door slowly I peeked out without exposing myself to whatever is on the other side, and right there I saw something that my mind can't comprehend, a pale, tall and handsome looking man with razor sharp fangs standing just outside of our house clearing, and the shocking thing is he looks very identical to my peter, in fact I can't even distinguished the two if not for the paleness of the skin and the fangs.

'come out dear sister in law, I know you are there, let me see how you look, you had piqued my interest because you made my brother hooked on you, oh I wonder if you even know he has siblings'.

'alright what is that freaky looking man saying, who is his sister in law?, am sure peter is not related to that abomination, because am really sure he ain't human.

peter took step forward and also looked outside, immediately after he saw the person outside his facial expression changed and he looks downright scary that moment.

'laila I want you to take Damien and run, don't look back, I will come find you after I took care of that person outside, trust me laila, I have only your best interest at heart, I am sorry for not showing you this side of me,I was scared not knowing whether you might stay with me if you know the true me'.

'what are you saying? don't tell me you are like that man outside?!.

and I really don't want him to get his hands on you and our little boy, I entrust Damien to you, you are strong so protect him.'

' you saying this doesn't change anything so let's run away together, and you should give me the full explanation after we escaped'.

I watched as my husband was killed in cold blood, with his heart ripped out of his chest. two of his brother's minions are searching for me,I took Damien and start running but its too late they already scented my fear and start giving a chase, and me the prey has nowhere to go, no place to hide.

and just like that in the moment of despair I saw a brilliant light a head of me, I start running forward to it, but the vampires are keeping up, and gaining on us, afterall I am inferior to their supernatural abilities.

when I heard the sound of footsteps coming in my direction i panicked, coming to a halt just before a great waterfall I waited not knowing what to do until I am cornered, the vampires with their predatory gaze staring at me and my son.

'hand over the boy and I will let you live,you don't know the threat that the boy is posing so hand him over and you will be left unscathed, if not I will capture you, torture you and send you to your beloved peter'.

ho! is this guy for real what kind of mother will give up her child to be murdered just because some sick psycho said so.

looking back to my behind I start stepping backward knowing that we might survived if luck was on our side. turning around and taking a leap I took the greatest plunge hoping that this will be our last meeting with Lucian. but as I thought I am naive because I have my agendas and the fate has hers too.
