Episode 8

Before Geraldo and all of his guards entered the project site, specifically the eastern part of the land, Traver and Ben's guards gave them a signal not to step over the border.

Ben watched with his eagle eyes, while Traver inspected the overturned pickup truck.

The guards turned the pickup truck back upright, revealing a man covered in blood. One of the guards checked the man's pulse and neck.

"He's dead, Mr. Traver."

Traver simply nodded, then he noticed a trembling heap of cloth. With his eyes, Traver signaled for the heap of worn-out and dusty sheets to be opened.

The guards opened the pile of sheets, some of which were also stained with blood.

"SHHH!!"

The guards discarded the sheets, revealing a slightly emaciated girl trembling in fear. The girl had long hair and despite her dirt-covered body, she looked beautiful with her fair skin.

The girl looked at Traver with innocent, frightened eyes, like a scared kitten. She seemed to be asking for forgiveness for the mistakes she had made.

Meanwhile, Ben, who had been watching from a distance, began to approach Traver. With his hands in his pants pockets, Ben looked closely at the girl in front of him, cowering in fear.

Ben's large coat fluttered in the strong night wind.

"Ple... Please..."

Those were the only words that came out of the girl's mouth.

"Does she know who she's asking for help? She's trying to escape from the jaws of a crocodile, why would she just walk into the mouth of a lion?" Ben whispered into Traver's ear.

"Do you have any orders, Sir?"

Ben looked at Traver.

"Do you want to get your adrenaline pumping?" Ben asked.

Traver smiled slightly, the corner of his lips twitching slightly.

"Or do you miss fighting in Afghanistan?" Ben asked again.

"You know better than anyone what I hope for. I prefer being by your side, Sir," Traver replied.

"That's why you must also know how I am and what I like. Your eyes are like my own. I don't like dirty things." Ben whispered and gently patted Traver's shoulder.

Traver lowered his head, while Ben left the place. All the guards also lowered their heads.

Meanwhile, the girl continued to cower in fear, trembling with a mixture of fear and coldness, hoping that someone could help her.

"Mr. Traver, does Mr. Ben not want her? I'll take her back," Geraldo said.

"He doesn't want anything dirty, but anyone who enters his territory will not be allowed to leave, especially if they enter illegally and damage the project. So, what punishment is appropriate for this girl? Her man is already dead, should she follow him?" Traver said.

"Sir Traver, I promise not to cause any more trouble. I will take her away, Sir."

"If I'm not mistaken... isn't this the girl who ran away from your mansion, and you were going to offer her to me?" Traver said.

Geraldo couldn't move, he could no longer bear the pain in his shot knee.

"Ple... Please, Sir, I promise to repay your kindness... But please, help me, I don't want to go with them." With strong bravery and desperation, the girl cried and pleaded for mercy from Traver.

"What's your name?" Traver asked.

"M-M... My... My name is Daisy, Sir..."

Traver then took another pistol from the back pocket of his jacket and pointed it at Daisy's neck.

"Listen, Daisy, I can't stand seeing weak, scared, crying girls. Just sleep."

Daisy widened her eyes, and then the pistol pierced her neck, causing her body to instantly become weak and lifeless, lying on the sheets that were still scattered nearby.

"D-Did you kill her?" Geraldo stared in fear.

"I rendered her unconscious, because I didn't want her to see a sea of blood here."

"W-What do you mean?" Geraldo stammered.

Geraldo slowly backed away, and Yaroon supported him from behind.

Traver took small steps forward, slowly approaching and getting closer until he crossed the border, stepping into the western territory.

"You... You're in the western territory!" Geraldo shouted.

"Yeah? So what?" Traver replied as he loaded bullets into his gun.

The guards of Travel also advanced.

"Yaron! Do something!" Geraldo shouted.

"How foolish you all are! You guards are so stupid! Protect Lord Geraldo!" Yaron cried.

With fear in their hearts, the guards moved forward, trembling as they pointed their guns.

Traver laughed cynically.

"I admit your loyalty, but honestly, I am very disappointed. I thought you were a group of mafia that could give me trouble, or at least expend a little of my energy, but it's too easy. This makes me bored and wanting to end it soon."

Traver pointed his gun forward, his strong, muscular hand wrapped in a suit making him look fierce and handsome.

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

Traver's guards moved forward and quickly shot Geraldo's guards.

Meanwhile, Traver shot his gun right at Yaron's head, leaving only Geraldo alone.

"Surrender your territory," Traver said as he wiped away the bloodstains on his neck with a white handkerchief.

"O... Okay... Just take it... Take it... But spare me, Lord Traver!!!" Geraldo screamed and begged for mercy.

Traver then glanced at one of his guards who handed Geraldo a document, which Geraldo signed with trembling hands.

"Leave before I change my mind. Run as fast as you can before I kill you," Traver said.

"O... Okay, Lord Traver... I will leave immediately."

Trembling with fear, Geraldo went away limping with his one-legged pace, struggling with his large body, desperately trying to run as fast as possible.

Traver smirked and then turned around, tossing away his handkerchief and walked away.

"Take the girl," Traver commanded.

"Yes, Lord Traver."

The journey to the hotel didn't take long, and now the convoy of cars had arrived in front of the hotel. Coincidentally, Dereck was in the lobby with some of his staff.

Seeing the convoy of cars and seeing Traver stepping out with his shirt collar slightly splattered with blood, Dereck furrowed his brow.

For Dereck, fighting or killing was already commonplace, especially for the mafia, not to mention in a country currently controlled by two mafia families, with no law enforcement and so on.

Then, a guard carried the girl out of the car, finally ending Dereck's audit and instructing his staff to leave.

"Did you just fight for a girl?" Dereck asked Traver.

"I saved her from human trafficking."

Dereck simply nodded, and Traver left, followed by his guards.

Dereck could somewhat see the face of the girl being carried by the guard.

"Beautiful," Dereck whispered.
