You've fallen into my trap

He lifted her from the ground and took her in his arms and stride towards yizhen's courtyard. He quietly laid her down on her bed. He sat beside her and held her hand, he slowly pinched her cheeks, and he placed a kiss on her forehead.

He inwardly thought, today I have carried you in my arms I am so elated. When would I get the chance to spend openly with you. Yizhen quickly fall in love with me. I can feel my loneliness without you. These days I am being in a daze because of you. He stood up and quietly left.

Xian said, " Yes mother...i got it." Once the dinner is ready all the dishes were placed on the table. Li Cheng  said, " Let's start eating." He told xian to serve food for yichang. Once they had finished dinner, and they left to Yi mansion in the carriage.

In the empress palace:

Ruan knelt down and said, " greetings to royal mother." Empress yin yue thought inwardly, why did my second son came here, either he might be scheming something or created some trouble again. She said, " Ruan, come and sit beside me."

Ruan has a worried expression his face he said, " How is your health mother?" Empress has an ambivalent expression on her face she said, " My health is better now."

A smirk appeared on his face but inwardly he thought royal brother I will make you fall into my trap for all the anger you have vented on me as I am weaker than you. I will make you worried about a bit, but I am indirectly helping you. If I get my sister in law I can have a peaceful life.

He has an animated expression on his face, " mother, my royal brother has taken an interest in a girl from a noble family." Yin yue has a startled expression on her face, she subconsciously asked him, " What did you say? Really?"  Ruan said in a gentle voice, " yes, mother."

Empress said in a sharp tone, " Ruan, how many matches, I have bought for your brother. He is so stubborn and he always rejected them. I lost my hopes regarding his marriage." Ruan said in a praising tone, " Mother, this young miss is our general yichang's sister, and she is a princess of Qi kingdom." Empress said in a soft tone with her lips curved up, " I don't care about the girls background. If your brother likes someone that's enough for me. I am happy that your brother liked her."

Ruan said, " Mother, don't tell royal brother I have told you. Mother you know my brother is very slow in dealing with girls. Till now, he didn't even confess his feelings to her. I want to help him." Empress said in an elated tone, " My full support is there for you regarding his marriage. If he gets married, I can play with my grandchildren."

In the peace palace:

Ruan rushed inside the peace palace and pours water in a cup while taking a deep breath, and he drinks it. Yuxuan inwardly thought what did he do? Why did he have such a terrible complexion on his face. He has a pale complexion on his face, "royal brother, I have bad news for you."

Yuxuan remained calm and said, " What happened?" Ruan said with a panicked expression on his face, " Mother, has selected a girl for you." Yuxuan generally don't react but this time he really has someone in his heart. He stood up from the chair and said in an abrasive tone, " What?" Ruan said while trembling, "brother, hurry up if you don't speak with mother. She may fix your marriage."

Yuxuan went to the empress palace and he knelt down and said, " greetings to my mother." Empress said in a gentle voice, " I thought of calling you. I have made an important decision on behalf of you. I have selected a girl for you." She ordered her servant to give the painting to him.

Yuxuan didn't open the painting. He scrutinizes the entire situation, and he said, " Mother, I am sorry I can't marry the girl whom you have selected." Ruan entered into the empress palace.

Empress said in a concerned voice, " Then how long do I need to wait for your marriage. Within few months you would be 18. Have you observed, even few ministers children got married. When will I play with my grandchildren or do you don't want to marry at all."

Yuxuan bent his head and said, " I want to marry. However, not the girl you have selected. I have someone in my heart." Ruan and empress smiled a bit, and they immediately changed their expression to normal.

Empress has a complex expression on her face she said, "I don't know what you will do, I will give you three months either you convince her or after six months, I will select a girl for you. You won't be given any choice to select, whomever I have selected you should marry her. I won't listen to any of your explanation's next time. Is it ok with you?" Yuxuan lifted his head and said, " It's ok mother ...within three months, I will convince her."

Ruan chuckled placing his hands on his stomach, Yuxuan turned around and saw him seeing the painting which he took from his hand. Yuxuan asked him in an anxious tone, " Why are you laughing?"

He wrapped the scroll and said in a humurous tone, " Brother, are you sure you don't want to marry her." Yuxuan retorted, " Yes" Ruan opened the scroll in front of yuxuan's eyes, and he was shocked by seeing the portrait. It was yizhen's painting.

Ruan said in a sharp tone, " Mother, you arrange this girl's marriage with a noble family. It's a pity that my brother doesn't want to marry her." Yuxuan's face was red with a killing aura surrounding him. He placed the painting on the table. He mocked and said, " brother, you have fallen into my trap. It's me who gave mother this painting." Yuxuan saw empress and Ruan smiling at him.

Yuxuan said in a brooded tone, " ruan come to training grounds." Ruan ran out of the palace and said, " No" Empress said in a conciliatory tone, " Yuxuan stop fighting with your brother. I know you have taken interest on her." Yuxuan said in a serious tone, "Mother, as I have promised to you I will confess my feelings to her within three months." Empress said with a small smile on her face, " I am eagerly waiting for that day to come, you may leave now." He left.

Yizhen went to the orange courtyard and said to jingyi, " come, let's practice sword fight." They went to the open courtyard and started fighting. After three incenses burning time, yizhen has a thrilled expression on her face, and she said, " You have improved a lot compared to the last fight with my big brother."

Yizhen asked him, " Jingyi do you want anything?" He said, " Nothing brother." She went out and purchased few bangles, hairpin accessories and blush, and she saw a white rabbit and bought it. She went to orange courtyard and said, " Jingtian, if you give me a kiss. I will give you a gift." Then she kissed her.

She gave her a rabbit, bangles, hairpins that she bought to her. She rubbed her head and asked, " Jingtian, what do you want to call this rabbit as?" She thought for a while and said, " brother, I will call it as little white." Yizhen smiled and said, " ok then, from today it is called as little white." Then she left to her courtyard.
