Yuxuan takes care of Yizhen

Yichang took the cloth and placed it on her forehead. Yichang saw her dehydrated. He said to jingyi, "Get me some drinking water. Jingyi pours water in a cup and bought it."

He made yizhen to sit and lean on him. He told him, Jingyi make her drink water. He did it. Then yichang made her lay down.

Yan bought the herbs, and boiled the herbs. After an hour, the medicine was decocted, and he brought it. Yichang helped her to sit, but she did not regain her consciousness.

Yichang said, " Yan, feed her slowly." Yichang saw the medicine was flowing out. He tilted her head upwards so the medicine does not flow out.Yan fed her. Yichang cleaned the medicine on her face with a cloth.

After some time Yichang touched her forehead and noticed that, her fever was reduced. She regained her consciousness and said, " Brother." She tried to sit.

Yichang helped her and placed a pillow behind her. She mumbled, "Brother, what happened to me? Why am I feeling tired?" Yichang asked, " Did you use your fast movement's martial arts for a long time." She said, " Yes."

Yichang said, " These days you are weak and you have used this technique so, you are exhausted as it consumes a lot of energy. Now you had fever due to infection. Once you eat properly you will become normal."

Yizhen said in a worried tone, " oh..all of you sorry for troubling you." Yan said, " do you think it's trouble for us for taking care of you. Wait for me I will get you medicine again." Yichang tried to feed her as her right hand was hurt.

Yizhen took a sip and said, " brother it's so bitter. I won't drink." Yichang said in a gentle voice, " I won't listen to your words as your sick you need to finish it." Yizhen turned her head to the other side and twitched her face and said, " I don't want to drink and it has stinky smell."

Yichang has an annoyed expression, and he said, " You…" and he calmed down. Yichang said to mingyue, " Get some candied fruit from the kitchen."

Yuxuan heard this by using his senses, he said, "Jinping, get some moon cakes with sweet fillings and long xu tang( dragon's beard candy) from the market." Jinping left.

Mingyue bought it, and gave it to yichang, he said, "little Zhen, be a good girl drink this and eat this candied fruit. You will not sense this bitterness." Yizhen knitted her brows and said, " Brother, I don't want to drink it."

Yichang said in a sharp tone, " Are you a small kid? Drink it first. If you don't drink how you will recover. Do you want me to use my strength on you and forcefully make you gulp it."

This is the first time yichang spoke with her harshly. He knew she would throw her tantrums, but this time it is regarding her health. So, he lost his patience. He was worried about her.

Yizhen never used to take medicines in her past life. Her parents always forced her to drink. Yizhen saw a worried expression on yichang's face. She took the bowl, and held her nose with fingers and gulped it fast.

He gave her candied fruit. He laughed at her by seeing her expression as if it is world's worst medicine. Yizhen took a fruit and had it and asked him, "Brother why are you smiling?"

Yichang grinned and said, " when you are drinking the medicine you need to see your facial expression with such a disgusting look. As if you were drinking some poison." Yizhen frowned and said, " brother, you are teasing me even when I am sick."

Yichang asked her, " Do you want to eat something?" She replied, " I am not hungry." Yichang said, " ok then, I will have my dinner and I will stay with you tonight to take care of you, as you need to take medicine."

Yizhen frowned again after hearing the word medicine, and she said, " brother, don't worry about me, you have your dinner and go to sleep. Tell mingyue to brew the medicine and put it on the table. I will drink it later."

She thought if brother leaves I can throw this medicine outside. I don't have to drink it again. She has smirked inwardly.Yichang said, " Little Zhen, take care. If you want anything, play your flute. I will come to your courtyard."

Yizhen felt relieved and said, " All of you go and eat dinner." She lay down on her bed. she fell asleep. Mingyue came and placed the medicine on the table. She closed the door.

When yuxuan saw everyone went back to their courtyards. He entered into the back yard and went through the window into yizhen's room.

He sat on her bed and touched her forehead he felt she is still burning. He stared at her and saw her hand tied with a cloth. Later he bought the medicine near to the bed and woke her up.

She was shocked by seeing yuxuan in her room. She was about to shout. He placed his hand on her mouth and covered it. He murmured, " don't shout. Your brother will wake up."

Yizhen stared at him and she came out of her trance and removed his hand. she adjusted her throat and asked in a low voice, " why did you come here?"

Yuxuan felt her voice was so sweet and alluring to his ears. As yizhen changes her voice when she was wearing men's attire, which sounded, a bit harsh.

He said, " I heard that after the hunt, you were sick, and I came to see you. As your family was with you. I didn't enter your room. I am waiting to see you for past few hours."

He took a chair, placed it to the side of her bed, and sat on it.He took out a bowl of medicine and told her, " drink it up. You have fever spikes now." She has a sad expression on her face and thought I have escaped from brother but see this yuxuan is also forcing me to drink.

She sighed and said, " Yuxuan, I don't want to drink it. Please don't force me. I thought I have sent my brother back, so I can avoid this medicine. But, you are forcing me to drink."

He rubs her head and said, " Yizhen I know you don't like to drink medicine. I have bought you dragon's beard candy and moon cakes. If you drink it I will give them to you to eat."

She was speechless by his words, and he was spoiling her like her brother's. She thought what kind of person he was? He looks stern sometimes, or is he is a warm-hearted person, or is he a caring person, or is he is a cruel person. I have seen him like this which one is his true facade. Every time I think about him, I would get confused.

Yizhen said with an ambivalent expression, " You are just spoiling me like my brother's.Ok I will drink it for sweets. I like sweets." Yuxuan was elated to be in her presence.

She acts as a little kitten in front of his brothers caring for their love, but they don't know she is a tigress ready to open her claws when she is in danger. Yizhen said to him, " Give me the bowl." He said in a gentle voice as if he is requesting, " I will feed you."

She thought what is that expression on his face which is attracting me towards him. Yizhen your brain got damaged. You are even hallucinating now. I need to calm down. She said, "I can't drink it up if you try to feed me as it is so bitter. I will gulp it at once."  

She held her nose with fingers and took the bowl from his hands and gulped it. Yuxuan thought she looks cute, his lips curved up but inwardly he was on cloud nine. After finishing it, he gave her two boxes. She opened and saw moon cakes. She ate a moon cake and offered yuxuan too.

She said in a polite tone, " Eat it." Then she had candy like a small kid and candy was stuck beside her lips. Yuxuan cleaned it with his hands. He said, " Eat properly. See you are sticking it on your face."

Yizhen was stunned by his actions, and she felt  nervous, and she said, "You don't know this candy should be eaten like this." Then she smiled, he said, " yes.. you are still a little kid, I heard how you made a fuss with your brother about drinking medicine."
