On the next morning when she opened her eyes, she saw her brother was sleeping on her bed by sitting on the ground and placing his head on his hand, leaning on her bed.

Then she remembered that last night she dreamed about her mother's death. She shouted mother and woke up from sleep.

When she opened her eyes, she saw his brother stroking on her head by holding her hand.

He gave water to her to drink. He told her "I am here. It is just a nightmare. Sleep now" she closed her eyes.

Therefore, for the whole night he sat beside me thinking that I may get scared.

She got down from the bed without making any noise and removed the quilt from the bed. She covered him with the quilt.

She went and changed into men's clothes, which she bought. She went to jog for the time; it takes for three incense sticks to burn. Then she took a long bag and filled it with sand.

She tied the open end of bag with a rope. She tied it onto roof beam and the bag hung from it. She tightened her fists, and she punched the bag with her hands and kicked it with legs as a boxing punching bag.

Then she opened a bundle of grass she placed it in the horse stable. She rubs the horse head. She went inside the house, took out the flute from her bag, and walked to the bamboo bridge.

She thought this lake water is around four feet depth. She drank some water from it and washed her face then she leaned on the railing of the bridge.

She closed her eyes remembered previous owner memories to learn how to play the flute. She started playing flute fluently like previous chunling.

Therefore, she thought whatever she was good at if I have recollected her memories I can do my best.

Chun ling does not know that her brother watched her all the time. She went back to room and saw his brother was still sleeping. She went and took a bath, and then she wore mourning clothes.

He woke up and went to freshen up. Chun ling brought the food, which she prepared in a bowl and placed it before ancestral tablets.

She lit incense and kowtowed thrice, then she burn paper money and paper clothes. She said, "Brother, you also burn money and clothes." He did it as per her instructions.

After having breakfast, she asked, "brother, I want a bow and arrows." He went and opened a bamboo storage box and took them out and gave it to her.

Huixiang said, "I think there is a lot of a martial arts book in this trunk. I have learnt my martial arts in this house. You can refer to them."

She said, "brother, thank you." She went out of the room she crossed the bridge. Then she saw there are large mango trees.

She said, "these trees are perfect for practicing archery. She marked a cross mark with the help of kitchen knife on the three trees."

She thought the original Chun ling has been practicing archery for past two years

Now I am in her body. I should be able to do it.

She closed her eyes and remembered, lower your left arm, keep the bowstring at the same level with your nose, stand with feet shoulder width apart and then shoot.

She shot an arrow on the tree. Initially she used a singletree as a target. Once she got into a good flow with archery, she changed the target alternatively from first and second tree.

Therefore, if I change between those trees I can focus more and I can face people from all sides. Then she moved to the third tree as well.

After a couple of days, she got accustomed, but she needs to practice more, so she can hit the target perfectly.

She saw her hands there are many bruises on her fingers with blood. She almost shot 100 arrows.

She felt as if she was drained. She drank water from the river. Chun ling ran for an incense burning time. She felt as if she was out of energy.

Chun ling climbed on a mango tree she lay down on the branch by placing her hand on her forehead then she slept.

She is completely tired and was in a deep sleep. Huixiang climbed the tree took her right hand and saw the cuts on her hands. He was worried.

Huixiang said, "Why are you torturing yourself like this." He saw a few strands of hair flowing on her face. Huixiang slowly moved her hair back of her ear.

He removed his hand and jumped down. He started practicing swordsmanship at a distance, so he can see her, and he will not disturb her sleep.

He said, "Before I reach to jiankang city I need to break through to martial god."

After sometime Chun ling woke up and saw her brother practicing swordsmanship in the courtyard.

She stared at him, "How beautiful his moves are so light and steady as if a bird flying in the sky" Huixiang saw her coming. He stopped his practice, he said, "come here."

They sat outside the house he said, "Give me your hand" He took out a small bottle from his sleeves, sprinkled the powder on her cuts, and wrapped her fingers with a piece of cloth. He said, "Why do you push yourself too hard?"

She said, "Brother, I can't always depend on you because you can't be with me for all the day. I want to become independent so that I can protect myself and the people I love. See, now I cannot even protect myself and I have to depend on you. So, I want to become strong before we reach to jiankang city."

He said, "You are right..." Huixiang told her, "I will cook food for us. You do not wet your hands for a few hours. But little Chun you need to tell me how I should cook" She smiled and said, "Of course brother."

Huixiang followed Chun ling's instructions, and he cooked food. Even Chun ling helped him by giving required ingredients. They had food.

Chun ling took all the books from the storage box. She sat at the study table placed the books on it, she saw few books related to martial arts, political issues, and medicinal books. Huixiang lay down on his bed and slept.

Chun ling read few martial arts books after sometime she felt sleepy. She leaned on the table,lay her head on her hand, and she closed her eyes. She thought to wake up after one incense burning time.

Huixiang saw her, he bent down, and he picked her up then he placed her on the bed. Then he tucked her in under a quilt.

He thought how cute she is when she is sleeping. Huixiang bent forward and placed a kiss on her forehead.

When he came out from his daze, he thought about what he had done. His ears turned red, he went back to sleep.

Chun ling woke up and saw she is sleeping on the bed. She thought when she has slept here. Last night while I am reading I slept on the table. May be brother helped me to lie down on the bed.

She prepared moon cakes, chicken, a few vegetarian dishes, rice, tea and wine and placed them on the ancestral table. Chun ling pour some wine in front of ancestral tablet on the ground.

For the next, few days she wake up early, did her warm up exercises practiced archery, and did workout-using punching bag.

After seven days, she can perfectly hit the target. She took the horse out of the stable. Chun ling bought it to the Courtyard.

Chun ling said, "Brother, teach me how to ride the horse." Huixiang said, "See that, your body should be straight to your knees, then hold the rein not too tight or too loose. When you are ready, nudge the horse. Don't kick the horse with your legs while riding." He sat behind Chun ling he showed her how to control it.

After a few rides,Chun ling said, "brother, you get down, I will practice." After riding the horse for some time, she fell down from the horse, so she got hurt on her hand.

Chun ling got up, and she dusted off her clothes and said, "Little horse, If you can cooperate with me I will give you a gift."

She took out a pouch from her sleeves she feed the horse with moon cakes. Chun ling rubs on horse's head.

Horse moved front and licked her cheek. Then horse moved it's head to her pouch.

Chun ling said, "Oh you liked my moon cakes. Ok then, I will feed you." she took out and feed it to the horse.

Huixiang saw the scene he smiled and said so; you know how to convince a horse too.

She climbed on the horse and rides slowly. Once she controlled the horse and her body movements, she increased the speed of the horse.

In the afternoon Huixiang gave her his sword and told her to attack him. He observed how she is holding her sword and body movements.

As she did not hold the sword properly, he moved beside her to hold her hands and showed her few moves.

He said, "Practice this moves as I have taught you. Once I feel you are good at these then, I will teach you other moves." Chun ling said, "Ok, brother"

He took out another sword and he too practiced. After a few hours, she showed perfect moves of basic sword wielding. Huixiang saw her moves and said, "It's enough for today."

Therefore, Chun ling took her bow and arrows and went to practice. For the next ten days, she practiced horse riding, swordsmanship, and archery. She became good at horse riding and archery.

Therefore, she started practicing shooting arrows on a moving horse. She almost fell down eight times due to loss of control. Finally, after twenty days she has achieved it. Huixiang broke through to martial god level.

He thought her how to use fast moving movements using martial arts. He said, "If you feel you can't fight with your enemies then use this technique. Either you can kill them or you can escape from them and protect your life. However, do not use this technique for a long time it drains out your energy. Use it when it is an emergency." Chun ling said, "ok, brother"

Chun ling thought to prepare noodles, so she took the flour into the sieve. She is sieving it. Huixiang came inside after his practice he started laughing loudly by seeing her face.

Chun ling asked "brother, what happened?" He said, "There is something on your face, so she immediately rubbed her face with her hand."

Huixiang said, "You are stupid. Before there is nothing on your face, I made you to apply flour on your face." He mocked at her.

Chun ling said, "See what this stupid will do" She grabbed flour in her hand.

Huixiang was aware of her actions, he ran outside of the room.

Chun ling ran back of him. When she was nearby to him, she threw some flour on him. Chun ling sat down, and she held her leg and said, "brother, I can't run anymore I have sprained my leg."

Huixiang thought she was hurt because she acted as if she is really in pain. When he went nearer to her, she wrapped her hand around his elbow, so, that he can't move, then she applied a bit of flour on his face.

Chun ling smiled and said, "Brother, you have lost." Huixiang said, "Yes my little koala." Chun ling asked him, "why did you call me koala"

Huixiang said, "Do you know how you will sleep on a tree branch and on your bed. You either hold on to a tree branch or hold your pillow in your hands.

After getting tired, you will sleep like a koala. You look too cute. So, I should call you as a koala" Chun ling said, "oh do I sleep like that" They got back to the house she prepared food for them. They had it and went to sleep.

Next day Huixiang said, "From today you need to practice with me. You have learnt all the moves. Only real time practice gives you good experience." Chun ling said, "OK, brother."

Huixiang said, "For the first two days you try to attack me thinking that you are facing an enemy. Then for the next ten days, even I will attack you. So, focus on how I am defending your attacks."

After one month she is good at martial arts,now she will be able to protect herself. she sat at the edge of the lake by placing her legs in water.

She took out her flute closed her eyes. She played the tune. Huixiang came and sat beside her staring at her.

She was looking more radiant than before. As sun light reflected from the water, she was struck with sunrays on her face.

Due to the gust of wind, her hair was moving freely and the tune was so alluring to his ears. Therefore, he was in a trance.

When the flute sound stopped, he came out of a daze. Huixiang asked, "what are you thinking?" Chun ling said, "Tomorrow we will start our journey towards jiankang city.

Therefore, I will miss this place rather than staying in the palace I love staying here. Thank you for bringing me to this place brother." He smiled.

Chun ling said, "Oh I forgot something just wait here, I will be back in five minutes."

After five minutes Chun ling came back and said, "brother, I have purchased it for you as we were mourning I didn't give it to you."

She handed a head crown, which she purchased in Luoyang. Huixiang said, "Thank you, I liked it."

She placed her hand in water and splashed water on him. Huixiang also splashed water on her. She tripped, and he pulled her into his arms. Then he released her.

Huixiang said, "Be careful. Let's go inside and pack" she nodded. She prepared some snacks, food items, and plucked out few fruits from the courtyard. Therefore, they can have it while traveling.
