The Forbidden Sea Creature Shao Peng Wu
CHAPTER 4: Rice Porridge.
She starts doing some weird stuff and as I watch I see she doesn’t know how to make rice porridge. So, when she is about to cover the pot, I grab her wrist and move it from the pot. I look at it and say to her
Shao Peng Wu
“You don’t know how to make rice porridge do you?”
I grab the pot and pour it down the sink. As I am doing so, she says
Fong Mei
” well I warned you and you insisted.”
I roll my eyes and begin making rice porridge properly. I put the lid over the pot and sit down. I motion her to sit in the chair across me, and she does. Everything is quiet just what I’m used to and just how I like it. But then the girl started to kick her feet against the table. I ignore it at first but then eventually get irritated.
Shao Peng Wu
“Stop, this foolishness girl!”
I wasn’t expecting her to talk back. I was expecting her to get scared and stay silent. She didn’t. Instead, she said in an annoyed tone of voice
Fong Mei
“First of all my name is not girl. Second, my name Is Fong Mei”
I squint at her because she was rolling her eyes as she said it. I also, don’t like people talking back to me.
Shao Peng Wu
“Ok, then since you are so “smart” can you cut down the nonsense?!”
Fong Mei
“My name is Fong Mei. Get it or are you just slow?”
I get really mad and when I’m really mad, I stay quiet and think before doing. Finally, I say trying to avoid getting angrier.
Shao Peng Wu
“Fong Mei. I Shao Peng Wu would like you to be quiet.”
She crosses her arms and slides down in the chair and say’s in a rather Bratty tone of voice
Fong Mei
“Noooo! I want to hear a story I’m bored.”
I sigh in annoyance and began I told her from the very beginning how my brother saw me as inspiring etc. Then I got into detail and said
Shao Peng Wu
“That day, my brother Mao was turning 7 and my grandma was turning 8,0001 that’s when a crowd of people came some with swords, ninja stars, saws, spares, or even guns came and killed them all my oldest brother Lan Killed by spare my youngest brother Xia was beheaded and…”
I pause not wanting to say anything about the rest of my family. That’s when the timer went off and I went to go and check on the rice it is finished so I poured some into the bowl for me and the brat.
