Episode¹
the town I grew up in was called harwick
it was a place where crime happened everywhere at all times
that town was flooded with criminals left to right
but when I turned 18 there was a criminal that struck the land he was a murderer that no one knew who he was his identity was unknown to everyone there
but what was certain was that he was a complete lunatic and you could always know because of how you found his victims
some victims you'd find the next to their skins as if he skin them alive others he could find them missing a limb
he was a complete lunatic and every police officer who was in charge of his case graduated quitted
they were all scared of him everyone was terrified that murderer most people never once stayed out at dawn or dark because they did not want to be caught by him or become his next victim
he was such a lunatic such an insane murderer that they named him the ghostly killer
it was called the ghostly killer since no one knew his identity there was not a fingerprint or anything on his victims to give an idea of who he was it was like he was a ghost or they were all murdered by ghost
so his name was the ghostly killer
he kept on killing for months until until it just suddenly stopped and then in the week when I became 19 on the news it said that the police caught the ghostly killer everyone believed and was relieved that finally that man was behind bars and was going to be executed soon but I did not believe that that man was actually the guess the killer I believe that he was still out there but I did not know what he stopped murdering it was a mystery to me
but of course gradually people moved on with their lives since there was no more killing
and soon people forgot about the murderer that was once known as the ghostly killer it was like he never existed
and years pass and I became 21

seriously I thought I shut off this alarm

I picked up my phone to look at the time to notice that it was 8:30

I better get up and get to my job

well my crappy boss will definitely say something
and I forgot to mention my name is Alice I am currently a detective investigator or police you could say I put bad people behind bars
but it doesn't seem to pay much I don't know why
and I moved away from my hometown a long time ago when I turned to 19 and the ghost the killer disappeared
and I'm living in the city called New York or so
and now I got ready to get to work
after getting dressed and ready I made my way to my workplace only to find my boss sitting in my office waiting for me

the world must be stopping or something cuz you finally came in early for once
my boss
but I did not come here to criticize you I gave you to give you news

you're fired that's the news

but why all of a sudden

well obviously cuz you're the most crappiest detective I've ever had in my life
my boss
you can't seem to get any of your criminals
my boss
and you just constantly cost us to lose money over now for again
my boss
I cannot take you anymore you're fired

pack your things and leave
my boss
maybe detective isn't the best way or job for you
my boss
maybe you should try something that is good for you
saying that my boss left my office
I just stood there shocked I knew I was never the best detective ever but I at least thought I could keep my job
because without that job I won't be able to keep my apartment and I'll have to move back home
home to that empty house where no one is there waiting for me
