The Oleanders

The rest of their lunch passed in a lighter mood and smiles. When they were chatting back on the campus, they suddenly heard boys and girls screaming and forming a big crowd.

They turned their heads towards the commotion and saw five annoyingly handsome men walking like kings.

Jisung

Why are they screaming over them ? I admit they are handsome but I don't think it's worth screaming and running to them right ?

Felix

Ah that's right you're new. You wouldn't know about them.

Felix

Then let me introduce them to you.

Felix

They are famous here because they are from a gang called The Oleanders. From what I've heard, it's because they attract you with their beauty and then k!ll you without you even realising it, just like the flowers.

Felix

The one with red hair is Bang Chan. He is the oldest and the leader of the group. He is also the president of the student council and even though he can be scary, he really does a good job as a leader. I know because I'm part of the council too.

Felix

Next to him, you have Lee Minho with his purple hair. He is the second oldest of the group. He is quite mysterious, I don't really know what to say about him. He is calm, has good grades, doesn't cause trouble. But once there was a rumour going around about Hyunjin doing drugs. The next day, at the cafeteria Minho went to the ones who spread the rumour and asked to "talk" with them in private. After that, Minho came back but we never saw the others again.

Felix

Anyway, the next one is the short man with grey hair, he is Seo Changbin. He is a year younger than Minho. I think he is the strongest out of them seeing his build, but I have never seen them fight. And I don't want to see that either. He always wears fingerless gloves. Rumours say that he often goes into fights and he wears them to protect his knuckles or to hide them.

Felix

Then there is Hwang Hyunjin, the one with pink hair. Even if his hair makes him look like an angel, he is far from it. He doesn't listen to anyone except the members. He disobeyed many teachers and went into many more fights. He is very wary of anyone who tries to approach the group. And you would tell me that it is normal from a gang member, but he has this attitude that screams "fVck off" while the others just look annoyed. There are also rumours going on about the reason behind his behaviour : heartbreak, family issues, cold-hearted b*tch. I don't know if there is a real reason, maybe his friends would know but I won't ask them.

Felix

And finally we have the blue haired Yang Jeongin. Don't be fooled by his innocent look. He is part of the gang for a reason and I'm pretty sure that he isn't inoffensive. But I don't know much about him since he's new.

Seungmin

What was the name of the guy with purple hair again ?

Felix

Lee Minho. Why ?

Jisung

Nothing

Felix and Seungmin felt there was something that Jisung hadn't told them, by the way he answered too fast and by the uneasy look on his face.

Jisung

Are there any other members ?

Felix

I have heard about another one but I don't know his name and I have never seen him. People say he died in an accident but I don't know for sure because they were only five when we arrived in uni.

Feeling the gloomy mood, Jisung decided to ask another thing that kept bothering him since he saw them.

Jisung

What's wrong with their hair colour ? They all have unusual tones.

I guess it's kind of a ritual, like 'if you want to change your life by joining the gang, you have to change your hair colour first'. I don't know. 🤷‍♀️

Felix

But I won't complain about it.

Felix

They look hot.

The other two gave a vigorous nod, not denying the truth.
