Chapter 9 - Come Closer

Rein and Aola were no looking over everyone on the balcony, they began to join the party. Kubia's eyes gazed at Rein as his presence was imminent while he walked down the stairs with his dearest sister.

Kubia and Aola didn't get along in the best of terms, in fact Kubia didn't mind using her name to get out of certain situations. The mischievous girls face started to sour, she looked away before the expression on her face start to dampen her looks. Rein and his sister reached the end of the magnificent staircase that curved.

Everyone's eyes darted in their direction, he was the center of attention a striking man who enraptured the women's hearts. Aola scoffed and she chuckled getting out of her brother's spotlight, she spotted a certain enemy of hers.

The royals clapped loudly for the man who was about to properly become King, while the crowd wallowed in Reins honor, Aola scurried through the crowd to face up with a wicked beauty Kubia looked the princess up and down.

"Well if it isn't my dearest friend.." Aola felt her tongue sting just by saying a disastrous thing, Kubia felt vomit come up, disgusted by her words. "Yes, Greetings Princess Aola" Kubia's eyes couldn't help but glare at the girl in front of her, the person who would always interrupt her and Reins alone time.

Aola particularly didn't like Kubia's behavior, she knew what she truly wanted and she wouldn't allow to marry her dearest brother, in fact, Aola was going to choose his bride herself.

The former queen was escorted down the circular stairs by her dearest step-son Finard, who surprisingly came. Rein's eyes glowered on his brother, but not enough for the crowd to tell how much he truly disliked his brother.

Everyone began to clap again for two, they glided across the floor elegantly to greet the cold hearted man. "Mother, you look absolutely exquisite" Rein reached out to delicately kiss his step-mothers hand. Finard scoffed, he had his hands in his pockets lazily. Aola spotted her fourth eldest brother and she glanced at Kubia one more time "I'll be seeing you" She strutted away from the girl, it took Kubia's strength and will not to throw her glass of champagne on the girl.

Leigh's eyes were slightly open, her nose red and her face puffy from all of the crying. Mimi stroked her hair and Rayla made sure to rub her back and keep the girl calm. "I feel like such a baby.." The girls giggled at her sudden words. Leigh smiled and glanced at Rayla "You guys are the best" Leigh lifted her head off of Mimi's lap and she leaned against a side table that held a vase on top of it. "I look like a mess don't I?"

Mimi's smile was crooked, Rayal looked to the side making sure her expression wouldn't show. Leigh caught onto the idea "Well let's hurry and fix me up before the ceremony starts people!" She got up a bit sore from the impact earlier, she dusted off the stomach area of her one piece and fixed her cape. Mimi and Rayla quickly got off the floor, they scanned Leighs outfit.

It was a mess, dust and orange powder of some sort were decorated on the one piece.

"Yes you are absolutely right let's hurry and find something else white!" Mimi said pulling Leigh out of the room, Rayla quickly followed.

A courier walked up beside Rein and the Former Queen Mina. "I welcome the Kings, Queens , Princes, and Princesses to the Islemicia Kingdom! If you could make you're way down the hall to your left you'll discover a buffet with many choices and the ballroom, after that we will begin the crowning ceremony in the evening when the stars in the sky and the moon reflect upon the future Kings crown!" He made sure his voice was big and loud so everyone could hear, Queen Mina smiled gracefully, Rein gazed at the crowd.

What was taking his pet so long?

His anger started to boil up from the surface, Kubia longingly stared at Rein, she couldn't hide her feelings for him anymore. Aola glared at the girl standing by her brother Finard.

"That wench!" Aola thought to herself grinding her teeth subtly.

Rein bowed his head slightly to the people and escorted himself out of the room, the crowd soon began to flood into the ballroom.

Kubia and Aola watched him leave, Kubia began to follow only to be grabbed by the young princess "My,my,my..you seem to be going the wrong way Princess Kubiara" Kubia looked at her with disgust as she used her full name.

"Leigh what are you doing?" Rein hurriedly walked down the hall checking each room

Leigh wore a lovely strapless white gown If was puffy at the bottom, white daisies were placed across the dress, her dark brown hair flowed down her back nicely. A white lacy headband wrapped around her hair.

Mimi and Rayla looked skeptical, Leigh stared into the mirror deeply. "I look like as if I am getting married" Leigh broke the ice, Mimi and Rayla agreed.

"You sure do, should we change you into something else?" Rayla asked, Mimi looked at the grand clock that stood in Leigh's room. "I'm not sure we have enough time" Mimi admitted.

Rein opened the door, startling Leigh she flinched, including Mimi. She was still fearful of the King after what happened a few days ago. "What are you wearing?" Rein was confused with her look, but she needed to hurry and present herself. Not that it wasn't extraordinarily beautiful, it just didn't match the occasion.

"We were just talking about that you're Majesty!" Leigh admitted she had her hands on her hips posing in the mirror. This girl almost made him chuckle, he stifled his laugh and sighed. "Leigh come," Rein said in dominant tone.

"Oh my..can you say that one more time you handsome man?" ˚‧*♡ॢ˃̶̤̀◡˂̶̤́♡ॢ*‧˚ Leigh thought to herself almost with a smirk forming on her lips

"Wait what!?" \(///Σ///)\

She quickly snapped out of it and mentally cursed at herself.

Leigh hurried over to his side like a dog, Rein could never not get used to how obedient she was.

He loved it.

"Follow me" Rein left the room, Leigh followed. Mimi and Rayla looked at each other.

"Our master is quite gullible isn't she?" Rayla said with a heavy sigh.

"Yes, she sure is" Mimi agreed chuckling.
