Jealousy

Diya with uneasiness looked up and says " could you vacate this place. It's mine."

Arjun smiles and winks at her ...then leaves the place.

Whole class started to look at Diya and started to chitchat.

Ritu: "Why this Arjun behaving strange all of a sudden".

Diya felt uneasy and didn't know how to react.

Diya left the class to find peace because everyone started to talk about her and Arjun . She sat near playground under a tree and started to feel the fresh air closing her eyes.

When she opened her eyes, she found someone sitting next to her and staring…..he is the most handsome basketball player named Suraj. 

Suraj: " May I know ur name please!"... He says with a huge smile.

Diya didn't know who the other person is and she says in a normal tone …" I don't know who you are? Sorry if I disturbed you ." And stood up to leave.

Suraj held Diya's hand and says " Sorry I didn't mean... you to leave this place. I am Suraj .College SportsTeam Leader.  I never saw someone beautiful to sit alone and enjoy in this place. Are you new to this college?"

Diya removed his hand which is holding her's and answered with hesitation.." yeah! I joined yesterday. I am Diya.".

Suraj: " Diya!! Nice name"

Diya: " ok then . See you"

Suraj: "Sure . Remember to see me. Will be here most of the time."

Suraj found her interesting...and decided to enquire more about her later. Meanwhile, Diya decided to return to class. when she was near steps ..someone hold her from back and took her into dark room nearby. She was in shock and was about to shout but the person closed her mouth with his hand.

When finally she saw the face, it was Arjun who was more like a Volcano with red eyes in anger.She didn't know what to do. 

Arjun: " Who the hell is he to hold ur hand. Is he your boyfriend. Do you love him?" He kept on asking her many questions.

Diya who is already sad about the incident happened in class..lost her patience and shouted at him..." Who the hell are you? why are you making my life terrible? Do u know.. you are hurting me right now?" and started to cry. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

Arjun hearing the last line and seeing her in pain...felt broken ...he didn't mean to hurt her...he was just jealous . He then calmed down and hugs her and says in a soothing way..

" Diya!! I never been like this before . I was least bothered about girls . But after you came into my life ... it feels like my life changed. I unknowing started to like you. I wanted to be with you. I wanted to care for you. I just can't stay away from you....May be all this means love. if that is true.. then listen I will never leave you because YOUR MY DESTINATION".

Diya stopped crying with still eyes wet, made herself free from his hug and responded in haste..." I don't think I love u. I happened to know you yesterday . I don't have any feelings for you. So stop troubling me." and left the place.

Arjun knew she was in pain and that's the reason she responded in that way. He then finally decided to make her fall in love with him.
