Seeing Taehyung vulnerable like that made me scared, even though he had a carefree persona he was a very serious person and seeing him that worried made me realize that it was more than a dream. Taehyng lay there silent for some time, static, I didn't know what to do so I just observed him.

His eyebrows were drawn together, forehead creased, deep in thought. After a while, I voiced my thoughts.

"Tae we should head to your pack and help them"

"No Y/N whosoever he was was strong, stronger than even you we can't do anything right now let's move on the sooner we finish this the sooner my pack is free," Taehyung said in a worried tone.

Unable to argue with him I just nodded and tilted my head towards our already packed bags, wordlessly Taehyng got up and put his bag on his shoulder, I too picked up my rucksack and we resumed our journey deeper into the forest towards the Moonstone and the Golden Wolf. . .

Jungkook P.O.V

After they left I lay curled up on the floor for a while, thinking about what I was about to do and somehow I felt calm I didn't feel any guilt about what I was going to do. I headed towards hyungs hut which was a little further from our packhouse because Hyung did not wish to be a part of the pack politics he was always a mild-tempered person.

I knocked on his front door, after a while he came out in a plain blue shirt and jeans.

"Hyung I need to talk to you," I told him

Seeing my expresion he gave me a nod and stepped aside opening the door wider. I entered his house and was greeted by the scent of fresh baking and gardenias

"What is it kid" Jung Hyun grumbled

"I need to go Hyung after her and I need you to take care of the pack," I said getting straight to the point

For a while he stared at me like I was asking the world from him, after a few seconds he said

"HYUNG I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW! I NEED THIS RIGHT NOW! WHEN YOU ASKED ME TO TAKE THE ALPHASHIP I DID NOW YOU CAN'T DO THIS FOR YOUR OWN BROTHER your own blood. . ." I shouted at him seething with fury.

He was a weak man back then but now he wasn't now he could take the Alphaship and help me but he wouldn't.

Hyung stared at me dumbfounded for a while before he came forward and embraced me.

"I'm sorry that you went through it kid don't worry I'll try to do my best but . . . come back soon okay" Hyung told me.

I nodded to overwhelmed to say anything and went outside, as soon as I stepped outside I breathed a sigh of relief knowing Hyung wouldn't back out over his promise.
