Episode 2

(Sound of an alarm clock)

I turn off my alarm clock, getting up from my bed, stretching my body for a while

“Ah… what a good day”

That’s what I always say after taking a long-deep night sleep. Yesterday after I arrived home, I spent most of the day

doing research and watch the video about the surgery. Then I went to bed very early and it makes me feel like I’m being recharged. Now it’s time to use my energy again. After taking a shower, I put very little makeup and grasp my bag to go down to the living room. Ah….something smell so nice. I leave my stuff on the table and go to the kitchen where my dad is carrying a big bowl, then place it on the table

My dad “Morning sweetheart”

“Morning dad”

My dad, Mr. Grogery Borison, A professor at USV University which is one of the biggest universities in the country. And he is my only family after my mom died since I was 10.

My dad“I make you a seafood porridge, serve yourself”

Yeah….my favorite food ever. Instead of a sandwich, toast, or those kinds of bread as breakfast like most people eat in this country, I’d like to have porridge in the morning. I don’t know why maybe because I have Asian blood and the porridge reminds me of my mother. I am haft Lawn half Asian. That is why I have black eyes and black long hair while my dad is blond with amber-color eyes. I am 160cm tall.

“mmm, dad’s food is the best. Aren’t you go to university today?”

My dad “No, but I have a seminar at another university at 9 am this morning”

I nod and look at the clock

“It’s 7:30 am now, after breakfast I will clean the dish.”

I notice that he’s still on his pajama, he should go to prepare himself too

My dad “Thank you, honey”

Then we’re having a wonderful conversation during our breakfast time

Roissy Airport

Crown prince Edward is sitting on the seat in the middle of a private jet, looking out the window

Eric “Your highness, we will be boarding soon. After arrival, I will drive you to the hotel and our people will wait there”

Edward turned to look at Eric who is standing beside him

Edward “Come and sit Eric” He looks back to the window before continuing “It gonna be a very long journey”

NRS hospital hall room

Jan “I watched the news yesterday night, there will be a big raining today”

“Then the traffic today will be very bad”

Jan sign “I guess so, by the way, this noon I and Sam will order McDonald for lunch. Want something?”

“Help me order a fish burger then”

“Ok”

After separate from Jan I go to my patient room who I perform his surgery a few weeks ago. Due to his age (early 60s), after surgery, he needs to stay longer in the hospital to follow up his condition

“Good morning Mr. Robin, how are you today?”

He smiles at me “Good, very good. I wish I can go home now”

“Will your granddaughter visit you today?”

Mr. Robin “Nope, she has to practice dancing for her upcoming party”

I inject the medicine into his serum and put the stethoscope on his check, his condition is really good lately

“I think you can go home soon, Mr. Robin”

He smiles at me, gently with hope inside. When I came out from Mr. Robin’s room, I see Andrew who is walking on the hallway without looking for the road because he’s reading something, probably the patient status on his hand.

“You should at least watch out for the road”

He slows down his step and looks up at me, smile at me. Oh my god, his smile could bright this entire world I swear^^

Andrew “How is Mr.Robin?” he asks

“He gonna go home soon”

He nods with a little smile

“It’s all thanks to you, gave me a lot of advice for his surgery” I confess to him

Andrew “Right, you should pay me a meal,” He said half true half kidding

What!? How can!? Andrew asked me for a meal to thank him!? According to Jan, he never accepts anyone's invitation

neither joins any party. And why on earth!!!!!? He looks at me with curiosity

Andrew “It’s ok, I meant you don’t have to, I’m just kidding”

I don’t know what to say now if he'd really meant it or not?

Andrew “I gotta go, I’ll see you around”. He pats me slightly and walks pass me
