Episode 5

The two went into the car and the other three waved them goodbye, closing the door way back into the house.

The driver drove them to the airport where they boarded their private jet. It was around 9pm when the plane took off.

“Charles...I’m...I don’t know why...but...I’m unsure right now...”

“That had to happen...you took the decision impulsively...”, Charles replied with a sigh.

Ellie sighed. “Hmm”

The flight was silent. Ellie was staring out of the plane trying to get her thoughts together. Charles sat with his computer, still engrossed in working. They had dinner around 10:15pm. They ate spaghetti and salad and later pastries for dessert.

When they landed it was 11:30 already. They reached home around midnight.

“Good night”, Charles said kissing her forehead.

“Good night”, she smiled.

Ellie’s took a shower and went to bed. She was sleepless, tossing and turning. On the other hand Charles lay on his bed texting...

He kept the phone on the bed smiling. He drifted off to sleep.

Early in the morning, around 4 Ellie got up. She got all freshened up, got her workout clothes on took out her little bottle of water and left for the gym. After an hour of gyming, she left for a run, after one and a half our of running she finally was tiered and sat on the swings drinking water. She went into her building up the lift, to her flat. It was seven already. She took a shower got into her formals and came out to the dinning table. Charles was ready with her breakfast.

“Come back for lunch today... you’ve got an invitation”, he said handing over her sandwich. “I mean we, not just you”.

“You go, I’m busy...”

“Paul’s mother invited us”

“Hmm?”, Ellie looked up in surprise, food stuffed up in her mouth.

“You still don’t wanna go?”, Charles asked with a smirk.

“I’ll be back by one”, Ellie wiped her mouth getting up, ready to leave.

Charles laughed. “Bye sweety”.

Ellie went to the basement car parking. Her black BMW M4 Coupe awaited her there. She got in and drove to her office. She was known as the 'Demon Queen'; the icy, merciless, cold, indifferent president who’s rare to see. Only the Reapers’ and her assistant saw her often. Though by now everyone knew her identity. She had held a press conference a week back revealing her identity. Before this no one knew the face behind the mask. To businessmen she was an elegant and competent opponent, to teenage boys she was the hot and sexy beauty they craved for, to young adults she was both inspiring and attractive. She was the type to drive boys crazy and girls jealous. In short she was a wild party girl, sexy, hot, and beautiful attracting boys wherever she went and at the same time an inspiring, fierce, cold, merciless, elegant CEO feared by all.
